So I go out a lot, get tons of numbers, and they almost always flake.

Finally, my friend who's a super natural told me that I can't just get in chill for 20 minutes and leave, because then when you call it's weird. Right or wrong he said "if you chill with her all night, then by the end she will either fuck you or you'll have a great date set up from later in the week." He also told me not to text which I've been doing and wait longer to call.

So anyway, I'm at this Talent show thing (I'm a performer) and I see this girl I tried to pick up a while ago but now I'm friends with. Anyway, I'm just chilling with her, because she's a cool chick, and her friends come by. This one is decently cute, blond, good body in a nerdy way, about 3 inches taller than me haha. ok, this isn't cold approach so I don't know if I should be talking about it, but I do do lots of cold approaches so whatever. Anyways, so I start talking to this girl, her friend likes me a lot so good social proof. I really make an effort to stay with her all night, she leaves and is talking to this other guy, but somehow I get in. I get her number, but don't eject, stay in and move her to this table. Try and get her to a bunch so there can be more Kino but she's not having it. Oh ya, earlier it turns out she's kinda on my way home, I offer to give her a ride and she accepts.

Anyway, I say "I have to go to the washroom actually, can I use yours?"
Her: Sure.

So I park, come up, thinking I'm in pretty good shape. But she's been talking all night how she has to get up at like 7:30 the next day. So I say "you wanna chill for a bit" she says "nah, gotta get up early". We're both musicians and we were talking about her musicianship and as I'm leaving she mentions how she has her violin in her room.

Me: "I'd love to hear you play".
Her: (thinks about it for a bit) "Another time, I promise".

I say ok, give her a hug, tell her I think she's cool which I feel like might have been dumb because I was being serious all night.

The next day I text her
"Hey! Good hanging out with you last night, too bad I didn't get to see you perform. Ill get in touch in the next couple of days to set something up"

No response... one day, two days, usually I would've texted again but I took my natural friends advice and held off.
Today (like 3 days later) she texts me "Hey sorry for the slow reply-so busy with career fair and my friends bday. Let me know when you want to get together"

Honestly, my numbers almost always flake so I'm a little excited. My plan is to text her tomorrow and say we should grab coffee somewhere near her house the day after (I'm super busy this week, don't have much time to chill).

Basically I learnt that maybe I should hold out a few days to call and try and chill for longer with the girl.
