She will get into the bathroom and realise (oh damn, what am I washing up for?) if you have built sufficient comfort this should work well.

When she comes out have her select some music while you close the blinds - make her the instrument of her own demise. Not only does this increase he chance she will submit, but it also gives you tools to introduce a very effective freezeout. When the LMR hits you can stand up, open the blinds, blow out the candles, turn off the music and just go and watch TV.
