So, I was out last night at a club, and I saw 2 HB8's (blonde and brunette) standing by the coat check line with their jackets on. My opener was asking the blonde 'are you coming or are you leaving?'... I've never been terribly clever with openers, mostly situational stuff, but it got the job done. She was receptive, but almost seemed to be pawning me off to the brunette, saying things like, 'oh I don't know you'll have to ask her', or 'it's her decision'. I figured they were interchangeable so I switched to the brunette. Turns out they were leaving to hit a club across the street (which i knew would be terrible). The brunette was giving me crazy IoI's saying how this club is full of older people, but now that she met me she wants to stay etc etc... Either way, they had their jackets on and seemed pretty intent on leaving, so I took a chance, told them how terrible it would be at the other club and that they would end up right back here looking for me. Made a bet that if they did, they owed me a drink. Could have gone very poorly if they didn't come back, but within 10 minutes, they were back and I had a free drink .

Anyways thats the intro. Basically, from there I was talking to the brunette for a bit, ended up getting her number. She had a few drinks and went weird party girl on me, like approaching random other guys, and dancing all over the place (mostly ignoring me in the process, like not normal dancing, kind of in her own world fist pumping party-girl dancing lol). So, while this was happening, her blonde friend (who was much more chill and down to earth, which is more my type) was standing on the side being hit on by several different guys. I saddle up beside her and she's like 'thanks for leaving me by myself, I've been fending off weirdos all night'. So, she's being fun, I decide to talk to her for a bit, get some good convo going, and decide I'm muuuch more interested in hanging out with her than her friend. So, here's where I may have screwed up... I thought in the interest of being honest, I would tell her straight up that I had already gotten her friends # (I figured she'd find out anyways as they have been friends for like 10 years), but that she wasn't my type. I pulled a line like 'well, when I approached I talked to you first because I wanted to get to know you'... apparently it worked because I got her number too... I figured what the hell, I'm not going to call the brunette, may as well try to get something out of this encounter.

I left, and sent the blonde a quick text, and she responded playfully making fun of one of the guys that had been hitting on her that I witnessed. Anyways, all in all I'd say it was a pretty successful outting. I think it's possible that after talking to each other, they may take me getting both of their numbers as a negative, but I'm hoping I made a strong enough connection with the blonde that she doesn't care lol. We will see about a day 2. I find girls I meet in clubs to be very flaky, so I'm not expecting much out of this, but I will give it a try.
