Not the best night but so good learning.

So last night I get a chance to go to the Electric Ballroom, a rock club in London. As I am working and studying my chances to do night game are limited.
So I’ve recently watched gamblers Stealth Attraction DVD and would keen to try this stuff out.

Getting to the club.
Managed to get a reasonable crowed to the club, my wing (AFC and overly found of drinking) another friend, plus female friend. This was good for social proof, especially with my female friend who I can dance with etc to build value. Only trouble was my wing was totally drunk and was getting very merry (harmless but starting to act like a twat). Got there about 1am and walked in.

Lessons: Try to get to club earlier, and whilst your wing is not so pissed that he’s making a fool out of himself.

Building Value
This works great. Tried the ‘brushing back of hands over girls as you walk past’ thing. I was worried that this would be a bit sleazy, but was totally cool. No idea if it worked as wasn’t looking back. The club wasn’t that full at any point so was hard to pull this off most of the time.
Danced, didn’t checkout any girls, looked like I was having great time. Started to notice that about 3 or 4 girls were checking me out.
Lesson: This stealth value thing working great.

Where it started to go wrong
So I’ve built my value up and now want to do something about it. Being a rock club people are dancing fairly energetically and the music is so loud that you can’t hear someone even if they are shouting in your ear. I’ve pulled in this room before just by walking up to a girl sitting down and getting her to dance.
Lesson: This room is not a good place to pull, and I had built all my value in here.
I walk over to two HB7s and try to verbally open – it’s hard to hear, I accidently grabbed her ass when I approached, I try to dance with them but not it’s not working that well. In the end they walk off to the bar and I eject. I think that I’ve now lost a lot of my value... what do you guys think?
I would have liked to do the stealth priming but the way people dance in rock clubs this can be hard – I will have to work on this.

Lesson: If not going so well, work out a way to eject or pivot from these girls into the next set to keep my value high.

Back to semi-cold approaches
I leave the room and move to balcony where you can hear someone without shouting as it should be easier. I open 5 or 6 random sets and feel like I can open anyone that night. I don’t get blown out once, but all sets flake out after about 5 mins after I had transitioned. My opening worked well and I could transition into other topics well, but didn’t break rapport (neg, tease, etc), and talked about fairly obvious stuff (“why did you get that tattoo”, etc) which is where I think it went wrong. My wing at this stage was drunk and starting to get on my nerves, as he starting spilling his drink over me, grabbing me, and knocking into everyone on the dance floor, so I guess my body language could have shown and had something to do this with it.

Lessons: Remember to break rapport, talk about interesting stuff, and get a better wing (or at least keep him off the beer long enough to score).

PS:
If anyone is interesting in going to rock clubs in London PM me
