When i am talking i move with my hands a lot not in a sense like i am nervous or something like that, i do it just to be precise in explaining something but what is bothering me is that some of my friends find it funny to be precise they are 2 girls who are like very close friends and they find it funny or something like that because teasing i think is not and surely they don't find me as dancing monkey this happend to me 3 times that one of them found it funny or something like that, i decided to decrease my movment with hands because i think i really am moving too much my hands i will do it now just for precise thing to show something or simillar that's all if you know maybe why this girls are doing it tell me beacause i am new boy so i need help!! and yes i gave them a slight IOD whenever they did it..please write your tips.thanks

Hello Chris. I think I may be able to relate to your situation exactly. That was classic old me. I don't think that anyone here can be helping you directly, it's more something that you need to change about yourself, you know, it's a different frame of thinking.

The thing is see, if people are pointing out your body language, unless your wildly flailing your arms around like a madman hitting people in the face and breaking things, the only reason they are pointing it out is simply because whatever you were talking about is simply not interesting to them. Maybe your talking for too long? Or your talking about star wars. I don't know, whatever it is then it's really not sparking any interest. How do you be more interesting? Well that's for everyone else out here to guide you on, I can't really think of any advice on that area. Again, it's all about your personality.

Now for the fun bit. You could try my pose whenever a similar situation happens. Arms out, killer smile, head cocked to the side, and a smooth 'ay', giving the vibe hey this is me, you may like or you may not, whatever. I love it. Though i'm pretty sure it only works if the most of the people there are already in love with you (excuse the cockyness)

Simply, be more interesting in what you talk about.

Oh and never game your friends. Just trust me. Just be yourself (I cringe when I say that) because friends are like family. Choose the ones you feel comfortable around. I hope I could be of some help. This is only what I do.
