First night out, wasn't completely concerned with improving game, half that and half having fun with friends.

Did open a few sets, but I think I pushed the negs too far. For example one girl said she was doing accounting at uni, I said (in a playful manner while smiling) "Oh how boring." And she said (also seemingly in a playful manner) "Oh my god! That's it!" and kinda turned away but not completely and her friend stepped in front of me and they didn't talk to me for about a minute so I just walked away with my mates.

Again I met this girl who went to a school that I knew a lot of people were dicks who went there, playfully poked fun at her saying that she was probably the same...she blew it out of context and took great offence to it, asking me if I was saying if she was shit or something. Although that could be because she was fairly drunk as less than 5 minutes after that she was dancing on the bench yelling and screaming.

Also managed to open a 5 set with a mate, all of them but one were taken (which to be honest I didn't care about as I only wanted to socialize), was going well for a few minutes until stupid me knocked over a drink and one of them said "You can't sit here." Mate was kinda pissed because he wanted to get with the single one and felt shit for most of the night after that.

Things to improve:
*Memorising canned openers to make it easier to open sets
*Forgetting about previous mistakes and moving on
*...well, everything really

what was it like as soon as you showed up? what was running through your head? how long did you take to open your first set?

i haven't done the night game yet (STUPID ME) i'vebeen working on my skills for 2 months now, i've done alot of day game and i try game all the time. i figure it's harder during day game so i'll be ok for night game. but the thing about day game nobody sees it coming, where at clubs orbars girls know guys will come to them.

Pretty busy, pack almost like sardines in the first place I went to.

Don't remember what exactly was running through my head, just stuff to say...have trouble with openers and thinking of them.

Well my mate and I decided to get a drink first then he wanted a smoke, then watched the cops throw someone out of the club (dunno why), so including all that...about 20-30 mins.

And now that I think about it, the first example I mention, I think the target's friend cockblocked me! Because the target didn't seem offended by my neg, but the obstacle stood in front of me and wouldn't move!

Gotta practice engaging the whole set, although it doesn't help that my mate just stood there saying and doing nothing rather than helping me.
