| FIELD REPORT – Female lawyer Blonde 10
Author: Tornado
This Happened on 21st Nov 09
Me and my wingman (Ninja) went straight to the venue, (The Public). We separated from each other to warm up a few sets. I got us a table in the smoking lounge and there was a two set lighting up their cigarettes right in front of me. I playfully poked the target’s arm and opened the set with the Jack Sparrow opener.
TORNADO: Hey guys, I wana get your female input on something, really quickly.
THE 2 SET: Umm...Yeah sure.
TORNADO: *LOL*... Say...if Cpt. Jack Sparrow was real, would any of you girls date him?
TARGET: Oh fuck yes. I like bad boys!
TORNADO: Haha...you’re trouble aren’t you? (And then manage obstacle)
At this point, the opener and the Neg had boosted the set’s energy level. I continued the conversation:
TORNADO: Oh yeah? What do you like most about him? ‘Cause me and my friend were just having this little debate. He reckons that Jack is every girl’s type.
The 2 set replied favourably as I transit the interaction to the cigarette ash in palm routine ( a magic trick which the PUA rubs the ash into his palm and suddenly it appears on the participant’s palm.) Getting them to sit down with me at my table.
TARGET: I like you (lol).
TORNADO: Thank you ( casual)
They got really excited and try to ask me how I did it. I made them jump into my hoop by getting them to tell me a good text joke. The target quickly came up with one
TARGET: What’s the difference between a woman and a pig?
TORNADO: Ummm...don’t know ae, what is it?
TARGET: A pig doesn’t act like a woman when it’s a drunk.
*LAUGHTER*
My wing entered the set. Ninja, tried to keep the obstacle occupied but somehow it seemed like she felt her value was being out ranked by the target, she ejected the set and went to the dance floor giving the target “the girl code”. To my surprise, the target actually chose to stay. Ninja got very excited, he let go of the obstacle and decided to stay watch the live performance. The improvisation taken place, between me, my wingman and the target.
I went away to get a quick drink from the bar letting my wing tell DHV stories about me to the target. , All of the sudden there’s this crazy old Cambodian AFC just randomly joined our set. His excessive energy level was ruining the set. Even my wing struggled to keep him under control. I came back in, not paying attention to the AFC and turn my back on him. This conveyed to the target that I am aware of her discomfort caused by the presence of the super-hyper-active AFC.
At this point, I isolated the target saying “hey come inside with me quickly I wanna show you something”. In which she complied.
I performed the Ring routine multiple-threaded with the 4018 routine. Because my excitement took over I was too much concentrating on my voice tonality which made me skipped one important step in the 4018 routine which ruined the effect of it. But she was still very entertained.
I went into A3, using some of Mystery’s classic lines (e.g. I can’t believe I met you in a bar, you’re such a cool girl. What do you do for fun? etc). We had lots of commonalities, especially music, which built the rapport. My next step was bouncing her to the lounge bar across the street in order to built more comfort and hopefully achieve S1. But then Ninja came, with all intention to hint me to bounce the target to the place we have planned. I mixed the message and ejected from the target without any intention to time-bridge. Since I thought I haven’t built enough comfort and up till then not everything has work in my game plan, I chose to just say “
TORNADO: Sorry I have to shoot off early, ‘Coz I have to catch up with my friends. But it was a pleasure meeting you.
As I was about to walk out from the bar...
TARGET: Hey! Actually I should get your number.
I wasn’t expecting a number close based on the level of my performance. But what the hell man she was a HB10, a blonde mature lawyer, giving her number to a 20 year old uni student.
Me and my wing evaluated our performance and the mistakes we made in the interaction. Ninja was mainly not managing the obstacle, not giving instant isolation when it was possible, was too eager to watch the performance instead of winging, and not communicating proper intent and game plan. I forgave him though since he DHV’d me really well with the stories.
My mistake was not using enough personality projecting materials. I hardly used any short stories that conveyed my positive traits and didn’t go deep enough into A3. Magic can only get you so far, but you can only get the result if your value is relatively higher than the set. Otherwise, it would come across as dancing-monkey behaviour. I was saved by my ridiculous opener and the well timed neg. I sent her a short text at the end of the night, she replied straight away. Then I made a terrible mistake by keep her waiting for too long (few days) that I actually failed to set up DAY 2.
Overall, don’t wait for too long on texting ‘cause it’s not the same as calling. Lesson learned, catch the big wave. _________________ "Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goals" Henry Ford
