I had a programmingfinial today. It was a weird day. lol I'm going to get drunk after that finial.. anyways this occured at about 11 today.


I've been out of commission for 3 weeks. I had mono. First time out not counting the bar with friends on myf 21st. Now I tossed myself a handicap. I took a muscinex, no worries... but it was the DM even now my hands are shakey. I didn't get any sleep because of it. I mean really shaky.

I get out of class. I go get some food. I sit between some girls I wouldn't date but open them. Shouldn't open just the ones you like. First ones are usually bad, till you warm up. Anyways Cold shoulders. Okay cool, its finials week. They are on lock down. So I get up and go to the next table, two friends chatting. Couldn't break in well. Just talked about my programming finial to both. Both tables said good luck on your test. Next I call, well my mom. Hey I'm sure you call you mom. if you don't you should! Now during that time the creepy 35 - 40 year old who goes to anime club sits down. I get off the phone when I see a really cute girl, black hair set her food down. (across and 2 seats over.).

I used the creepy guy as a pivit. Oh I have that shirt. To dampen the impact of me directly hitting on her. Honestly my interaction with the girl was probably pretty obviously a come one. Convo with the creepy guy wasn't as fluid. The girl was really ecstatic to anything either of us said. I was talking the most.

I'm doing awesome. Well except I took some muscinex and I'm all gittery. I'm not nervous haha. ( I was really shaking by the end.. hard not to notice so I adressed it first..). I got a programming finial today. Its' going to be interesting.

Jim, is that short for james? I go on about yes and how james is the most common name for US males. and then a tangent about how you forget 80% of everything you learn in a day.

Course I asked her what her degree was. It went from that ( DM / english) to my parents profession ( mom writes _____novels and helps suicidal people) she really seemed to like that. Then it bounced to what the creepy guy plans to do.

the creepy guy is talking about how hes going into banking or something. Then he starts talking about how its an arctic front after I start small talking about how fricking cold it was! -20 yesterday!!! seriously! gah winter! I could have stayed longer. Gotten more food and hung out. I was feeling really off, and being shakey and adrenalin. Awesome combo..
So hey do you want to hang out some time?

Pros.
Number closed. Good interaction. Even on a cold I haven't opened a woman in 3 weeks (mono..) type day. Bonus points for the close with super gitters. good interference handling my creepy guy. He does hit on / date 20 year olds.. At least 35. thats why hes creepy guy.

was gittery! didn't have the interaction go as subtle as I want. Coulda been more enthusiastic with the other guy.

Now I have her number. She has mine. Maybe wait till after finials? over the weekend? One thing I do is text girls and give them more of a chance then they deserve.

Finials end next week.

I love the "just do it" attitude. Even when there were no great girls around, you went for it. Good work disqualifying the jitters to.

I think you should use more c/f. Or at least more f. College girls respond really well to c/f in my experience.

Also, I don't like the number close. It was too soft. Most girls in college will give out their numbers in populated areas to avoid awkward situations. Also, girls know they will probably see you around campus again, and it is easier to give you their number and string you along then be overtly cold. This is not to say that she will definitely flake (though I think she will). I think you would have been better off not even trying to close and relying on the fact that you would see her around campus again. You could then reopen when you are on your A-game (as opposed to Mucinex), resulting in a more solid close.

To stop her from flaking I think you are going to need to do some serious text game over the break--some solid attraction stuff. There are some good threads on this forum about text game (too lazy to look them up).
