ok today wasnt my first day game experience however i came across a strange problem i could not surpass so lets begin at the start shall we

ok so in rundle mall (a long street with a fuk load of shops) i approached a 2-set they were and 8 and a 7 i smiled and asked "do i look gay?" they were a bit shocked but said no u dont but we can tell u look after urself (ioi?) my response "well see this gay guy hit on me at a bar -they looked shocked- he was looking at me so i kept drinking my beer then he came and sat next to me and said i looked cute and touched my arm like this -i touched her arm in a sexual way- i said thanks mate but i am straight and left"

at the point they laughed and said aww poor you and i was like yeh totally but do u think my hair makes me look gay?
HB:no not at all it looks really good (ioi?)
me: i smiled and said thanks and asked how long do u spend on ur hair?"
HB: around 30-40 minutes
me: i laughed loudly and said only 5 minutes ahah and it still looks better than urs -smiles- only kidding and touched her arm
HB: so what r u doing?
me: me? -points to myself and looks over shoulder and laughs- just some shopping u should come and help me
HB: i am meeting a friend sorry
me: thats fine ur loss i have an awesome twirl i do -laughs-
HB: oh really?
then her phone rings and its awkward so i ended up waiting a minute before i left

so guys where could i do better? i feel i couldn't get past the phone call as both were paying attention to the call. i felt it was going great but i could be wrong please post any thorts as they would be greatly appreciated

I'll give my opinion here:

1) You went too fast for the instant date. You should've talked more and conveyed more of your personality. The IOIs she gave you where not enough for the huge escalation you made. When she asked what you're doing you should've played more and built some tension before going so eager for the instant date.

2) I'd just eject at the point she said she's meeting a friend. Staying there waiting her talk on the phone just lowers your value and you can't really recover.
