a few questions i would love to have your thoughts on from my weekend experiences
well i went to visit my friend in porstmouth the other day, was there from 7 one evening to half 5 the next day. the night i arrived we went to a club. i was wearing a REALLY loud tshirt (lots of different colours and patterns) with a cool black jacket over it. most of the guys there were slieghtly cahvvy an the staple clothing was certainly not wat i was wearing. you would think this would be a good thing... it gave off the impression to many that i was gay, being slieghtly camp i am often asked this in convo's. i cant stop this happening so any suggestions as to how to reply to such statements or comments???
for this particular evening i started using the opener "a lot of ppl have told me that i look like a gay african man (the print on the tshirt) what do u think"... this was usually answered with a laugh and a, "well u do look a bit gay"... it didnt really work at all, where could i have gone from this???
i eventually got chatting to a girl who i met thru my mate and did the 5question game resulting in a free drink pour moi! from here a bounced from the dancefloor to some chairs and read her palm, ending up with a kiss and number close... i was looking for an invite back to her place but i had only just met her an she was leaving with her mates so im guessing not getting back to hers isnt TOO bad..?
i txt her an we went for a coffe the next day, i payed for her drink (its hard not to wen she bought me the drink and i was the one who sujjested going out- how would you handle this?) after about an hour an a half she said she had to go to the library to get an assignment in (this was true as my friend also had too) i suggested a walk o another place, back to hers etc but to no avail, ending up in a quick goodbye kiss on the lips with me walking back to the station to wait for my train.
she was gonna go to the library anyway but with me pressing her to not go there an to go ANYWHERE else with me does that lowever my value, even tho without pushing her to continue our meeting she would still have gone...ordinarily i would have been like, see you later and then gone for it next time but i had to go back to london which is far from portsmouth...
that was my evening and any comments on any of the questions raised (the gay image and how to handle that, was there enough time to go further with her? etc)... all comments welcom and thanks for reading
