Interesting. If you're running out of dialog then you might want to try listening to NPR and taking notes on interesting stuff to talk about. I've been running out of dialog too lately but I figure that if I knew my library of canned NPR-inspired stories better then I'd be able to keep it going longer. Running out of dialog can also be a symptom of staying in the same place for too long, you have to get your sets moving and bouncing if you can.

You're doing pretty well though. How come you didn't want to go back to Brooklyn with that girl? Was she not hot enough?

Thanks for the suggestion. NPR is a good source of stories. I am still trying to work it without canned material, though, but I am really wondering if someone who struggles like me can do it. I have done it in the past - the Brooklyn girl and the Florida blonds for example.

I need to work on bouncing girls. Usually when I try to do it, I get resistance, so perhaps I need to work on compliance as well.

I didn't want to go back to Brooklyn because it was hella-far away, I had stuff to do in the morning, aaand...most importantly, although conversationally I had been fine to that point, I don't think I would have been able to hold it out over an 1.5 hour subway ride, not to mention the girl's roommate was right there and didn't seem happy about my bouncing with them.

And yeah, she was not hot and a little pudgy, though she was fun to talk with.

If you can't bounce to another venue, you should at least try to move them within the venue.

I don't know where you are but NPR is an American thing, it's National Public Radio. There's a lot of news, current events, science stories, history, just general intelligent, interesting, and sometimes funny stuff straight from experts in their fields. I find it a great source of stories and anecdotes. If you're in the UK then you could try BBC Radio 4 for something similar.

I should start checking out NPR just for myself.

Yeah, that make out was awesome - my first in over two years. I forgot how good it feels to have someone bite your neck.

Tonight was by best "sarge" ever. I'm about to write it up.

I am also planning to take Improvisational Comedy lessons. There are a few schools in Manhattan - one in particular was recommended to me by a fellow PUA in NYC. The school is called the Upright Citizens Brigade. They have a location in LA as well for those who are interested.

They are booked out until January. Wish me luck getting in.
