Hey guys,

So yesterday night was the first time i've actually gone out and had a chance to put all the stuff i read (theory) into practice...although it didn't go to well

I'll get straight to it.

Three things i learned from this first outing:

1) the music is so loud, it's hard to pull a routine on a girl, let alone natural game since you can't even hear yourself

2) There are a bunch of amogs and mother hens at clubs and bars, so it's almost impossible to DHV or amog the alpha of the group

3) I deduced that most girls in the bar/club already have their bitch shield up i.e. they go into bars/clubs knowing that guys will approach, and they have the power to reject. And it doesn't help that the music is literally blowing out your ears, so you can't even hold a small convo with the HB.

so lets go back to 2). I was on the dance floor, and my friend starts grinding on this chick. Of course chicks never go to the bar alone, they're always accompanied by their circle of friends. So since my buddy was going after this chick, i decided to go after her friend, who i'd say is HB8. everything was going ok, but then i just notice a guy just standing there in the middle of the group who was all on the dance floor.

So this is the mistake I made, and will probably will never do again. I tried to lower his value, which i know is a mistake now. Instead of lowering his value, he lowered mine by not responding to what i was saying...he totally freezed me out and i looked like a lame guy.

Eventhough i wasn't a successful night, i learned NOT to amog the guy who's the friend of the girls - big mistake.

Last but not least, is there anything i can do to improve myself on the club scene? i have read so much material, sometimes i find myself overthinking i.e. what routine i should use etc etc.

Anyways, this might not be an exciting post, but i thought i'd share my first experience at the bar

and yes, i just turned 19 (legal age in Canada) so i have no clubbing experience.

Don't worry, everyone has to start somewhere. When you put things into practise it becomes an interesting learning experience, and it seems you've already got the ball rolling. Just remember that everyone deals with the same conditions in certain environments... though different people are naturally more effective in different situations. You have to be adaptable, especially if you're moving around a lot in one outing. I also prefer when things aren't too loud, so you can communicate better... I like dancing, but usually have trouble working any proper dancefloor game with the ladies. Also, don't make too many assumptions... not everyone's going to have shields up and be against meeting new people, but for those who are, you can plough through and/or look up ways to handle or get around it.
