Usually everyday of college is a constant field for me, I sarge everyday between classes and it is so much fun.
However, today I woke up with a gross infected pimple just by my lip, it looked either like I've been beat up or like a serious case of herpes

So i felt today is not my day, I kinda walked around on campus just ignoring all the hot chicks walking by, it didn't feel good.

So I'm standing waiting for the bus home, I should have taken my car when I wasn't comfortable around other people I guess lol

Anyways, so at the bus stop, two targets show up, they don't know each other, standing like 10ft apart, any normal day I would have had a hard time choosing which one to approach but today I'm kinda hiding behind them.

Bus comes and I walk on it as one of the first, I sit down on the right side of the bus, target number one sits down behind me, target number two sits down on the seat across the aisle. Both are within talking distance and I'm just sitting there like a dead ferret!

All of a sudden I hear target number one mumbling and cursing something behind me, I had to spin around and check whats up.

Turns out she is muttering something about two southtrash speaking horrible grammatically incorrect english behind her. So I open her up on that, I turn around half way so she can't actually see the bad part of my face and I kinda tease her for being a future english teacher. It turns out she is half white half cuban, she is adorable, petit, beautiful eyes, the whole shebang! So I realize that I only have 5min before my busstop, talk about time constraint!

I run one of my classics and have her start talking about her favorite hang out places, which turns out to be a cuban restaurant (what a surprise) and we fluff a bit about it, I use all my NLP skills to build as much rapport as I can in the remaining 3 minutes. I see my busstop ahead, so I say "hey, you gotta take me to this restaurant sometime!" and she says "yes that sounds like fun"

Me: Whats your number?

Success!!

Well, some part of NLP is very simple, for example there are a lot of things related to NLP that helps you build comfort and rapport.

I used things like imitating here body language and tone of voice, I had her talking about a place where she feels safe and comfortable and then connected myself to that place. Very simple things that can be very powerful if you use them right!
