So i went sarging today solo so i could get a feel for this. I went to a local college park bar, Cornerstone. I started off smiling and saying "hey" to almost every girl I got eye contact with. Ran into a few people I knew and had some small conversations, but i tried avoiding the girls I knew to practice talking to strangers. The bar was very crowded and I opened a 2 set (HB7 HB8) that tried to push past me in the crowd by saying " excuse me would be nice". I made sure I had a smile on my face as I said it and maintained eye contact. the HB8 gave me a big smile and said "sorry...excuse me" and i felt that i got her attention because she kept eye contact for a second longer than expected. I just didnt know what to say to transition into DHV convo......Opened a few more sets that night but had the same problem.

So all in all, my biggest problem is transitioning from an opener to DHVing/ building attraction.
