Setting- Nightclub

4 set- 3 HB 5's and a HB 8

Approached the set and used a canned opener, it went a little something like this-

Me- What do you think of guys who wear skinny scarves on a nightout?
HB 8- I think they look abit gay (seemed happy to talk)
Me- Its funny you should say that cus i wore one out on saturday and got hit on by like 3 guys
HB- laughs and gives off IOI's

We carried on talking with abit of idle chit chat and banter, i then left her to return to my friends before going back and talking to her again. She seemed interested but ran out of material to escalate the interaction.

Problem i had here was i didnt get her friends involved at the start, i just spoke to the fit one. How can you get them all involved? They clearly looked at me like a wanker who wanted to pick up there friend.

I'm no expert, but in your situation I would have done something like this...

Once the HB8 answers the question you make kind of a surprised look and then turn to her friends and say "come on, not all at once now, what do you guys think?"...that would probably get everyone involved in the conversation, boosting you among the friends and giving you an opportunity to "borrow" the HB8 later on that night.

Cheers mate, good advice. Will try it next time! What are good things to use as excuses for moving her away? Like shall we go get a drink or something?
