Frat party
This is my first experience picking someone up on the dance floor, so I did some really things.

Last night, me and three of my friends decided to hit up a frat party where we might be rushing. A problem with my friends was that one just broke up with his gf and can’t get over her, one was not into getting girls, and one was a complete pussy. So I asked my first friend to get over his ex and help be my wingman. We agreed that we would walk into the party with our hands in the air and our index fingers pointing upwards, like we were number one. The idea behind this was to show other people already at the party that we were fun people. However, my friend pussied out so I did it alone.

Finally, we were in the party. There was a room serving drinks, a dance floor with loud ass music, and other rooms where people just talked or played beer pong. Me and my friends got a drink, went through the dance floor, and just drank in the corner. At this point I was a little pissed and tried to get my friend who agreed to be my wingman to help me open some sets, but he wimped out and my three friends left to play beer pong all night.

I was pissed that my friends didn’t have the balls to dance, so I was like fuck them I’m going to do this my self, even though I felt a little discouraged. I just started dancing myself, just having fun, but I ran into a cool friend and that was when I was fired up. I started approaching different sets of girls (mostly HB 8-9) and being like:

“Hey, what’s up!! What are your names”
Then I reach out to grab their hands and pull them closer so I can hear them.
I had no experience talking on the dance floor so I just asked questions like:
“Where you from?” “What you majoring in?” and when they respond I make a comment like “Awesome” “Medince ain’t as cool as engineering”. It didn’t really feel right, but the girls were listening and smiling and I felt I was gaining their interest.

After all the small talk, I would ask one of the girls if they wanted to dance. I looked back on the and realized this was a HUUGE mistake. Apparently your supposed to just start dancing with them.

Finally, I started talking to another set, and a HB 8 just held my hand and starting dancing face to face. Slowly, I grabbed her waist and got closer and closer to her. At times, she put her hands in my hair and swept down my face and I thought she was attracted to me. We danced and had small talk for a while and then she wanted to go outside because it was too hot. I might have been able to get the k-close on the dance floor, but I didn’t know what to do.

We were outside sat on some stairs and cuddled. Idk what to do to get that kiss at this point, but at the same time I didn’t want one cuz I wanted a day 2. So I just told her I was gonna meet up with my friends, got her number, and we parted.

I don’t know if that was the right move or not.
Could I have hooked up with her and still get a day 2 considering it’s a party and people have been drinking?
What can I say to be more entertaining when I’m in a set in a college party setting?
How do you escalate to a kiss?

Well, you said you WANTED a day 2...so you probably did the right thing. You could have kissed her and gotten a day 2, but you also could have dealth with buyer's remorse afterwards and stuff like that, and not get your day 2.

I dont know what type of girl she is but since you didnt go for a kiss but 'asked for a day 2' by number closing her, it could either be: "oh he didnt even bother kissing me" or "what a gentlemen he didnt go for any tongue, ill go out with him"
Was she drunk? if so, at least you didnt take 'advantage' of her in her eyes (though some women think that is not a good thing ).

How do you escalate a kiss? You said you were cuddling with her, so you were already doing some 'heavy' kino. Did you have your hand on her lower back, or in her neck (sensual areas to a woman)? From there you could pull back a little, do a little more small talk while you 'triangle-gaze' (its where you look in her left eye first, then her right, and then at her mouth) which creates a tension. You could ask her "on a scale of 1-10, how adventurous are you" whatever she says, (high is best ofcourse they'll usually say 7-8) or if she says "i dont know" you can respond with "lets find out" and just go in for the kiss.
Also while talking to her up close, there is a motion you can make with your finger across her face/hair which is pretty sensual.Its making a C on her face, starting at her forehead, maybe wiping hair out of her face, and then dragging it down to her cheeks and chin, when you're at the chin, go under it with your finger and maybe gently grab it between your thumb and index finger, and pull her in / move in to her lips.

Have you counted the IOIs she's given you? According to Mystery's method, 3 IOI's means you're in.

So I found out that she was an Asian F.O.B. About two days after the party, I texted her:

"Knock Knock!"
"hihiii!!"

I expected a "who's there" responce so I already planned on saying something like "You already forgot who I am :O" or somethig playful like that. So this reponse surprised me and I had no idea how to respond to something like this. Maybe I shoulda forget about her not knowing what "Knock Knock" meant and moved on, but this was my responce.

"Hey! U don't kno hw to play knock knock?"
"no ahh=\"
"When I say knock knock, ur suppoed to say "who's there" silly ."
"Who's thereeee??"

I didn't know how to respond to this. She kinda already killed the joke so I just responded:

"Haha nevermind ill play knock knock with u later. What r u doing tonight?"
"dinner with friends~ and webcam with my friend in canada lol"
"I'm eatingiwth friends too tonight. Where u guys eating"

I wasn't bullshiting her. I was planning on going to the place she was eating but making it sound more coincidental. She responds:

"we havne't decided yet ahh"
In my mind I was thinking are you fucking kidding me. I was so confused with the ways she responds to stuff that I just said:
"Oh whatever ill c u later"

I might of been too harsh but she didn't respond after that.
So an hour later or so, after me and some friends went to a frat open house, I texted her again:

"Oh hey, me and my friends are eating in (place). Bring your friends"
"We will eat Vietnamese food"

Now I was like... fuck it:

"Its cool, don't worry about it"

Idk if I ruined a day 2 with her. How would you guys deal with a girl fob like that and what should I have done differently?
