Hey Guys, for those of you who might have spotted my fishing report I have a new update.
After posting my earlier field report today I wanted to have another bash in the local supermarket so I popped in. First babe I see is the one I go for.
Am flicking through some book trying to look as intellectual as hell and see this woman opposite. There are tons of people there so I wait a moment while my anxiety is going through the roof.
I do the approach. She doesn’t move. She stays there. I run my opener and then ask her if she can recommend a book to me. Jesus, I thought she must work in a library or something because we went through the whole collection in the shop!!! We had been also making chit chat about the books.
Anyway, I politely excuse myself although things seemed to be cool. I go off feeling quite good for just having had a conversation anyway as opposed to running my opener and then running for cover.
I go to the stationary section to refocus and who should turn up in less than 3 minutes.
Me . Hey! I decided to buy the book you recommended. (I still had it in my hand cos I didn’t know where to put it.)
Her. Yes and look I am going to buy it too! She had a copy of it in her basket.
Well, then we fluff for 5 minutes. Turns out we are both teachers so we were talking away and finally I say, well been great talking to you. What is your number?
She says xxxxxxx
And away I go with big grin on my face. Will call her in a couple of days or so.
(P.S. i left the book at the checkout. There are loads of checkout but it would be just my luck if the babe spots it. Anyway, I got a number close in about fifteen mins. So, I feel pretty good guys.)

Hey Mr. E i've been following your FR for a lil while now. Great job on your number close. When i got my first number close it got me a whole lot more confident and found that getting future numbers wasn't as hard as before because you seem more fluid with it all. Keep us updated!
