Hey guys,

I just came back from the field. Went out with 2 mates, opened a couple of sets, things went fine. When we changed venue, my mate opened a 2 set of young chicks. The other mate rushed in and started talking to the other chick, wich left me standing by myself. I made a few funny comments, but the game was already divided: I was to be the dude without the chick.
They asked the girls to come to a place with us, so they walked with the girls and I walked by myself. Here comes the thread question: what should I have done? Should I have ignored one of my friends and start chatting up ''his'' girl? I dont want to come across as a lame friend but being the third wheel really sucks and frankly ruined my evening here.
We went to another place, hung out, had a couple of drinks, and soon one of my mates was making out and the other 2 were dancing. I walked around by myself and opened a set, but that didnt work out well since my energy was low and I didnt have that high spirit I had in the beginning of the evening.

To cut things short: I told them I was going home. To be honest: I'm better looking than both guys and better with girls overall: I introduced them to the scene, and I'm really starting to regret it.

Tell me guys, what should I have done, or what can I do to prevent this from happening again?
