Guys please let me know your thoughts bout this.
Picked up a 9HB at a walk sign.
So I was waiting at the Light to cross the road and a 9HB walked over and stood next to me. I glanced over the shoulder, and she glanced too. I was not sure if I had the time to go in for any direct/indirect opener since the walk sign would start any sec. So I looked at her hair, and said to her "I am a hair solution salesman and I must say you have pretty good hair. I am pretty sure you use our product", to which she smiled and said some product. I said "no", thats not the product I sell, and teased her bout her product, which is for babies. She laughed at it, and asked me the name of the product I sell. The walk sign started, so I started walking with her, and was talking to her over the shoulder. Once we crossed over, she stopped to talk with me.I made up a name for my product and told her, its actually for bald men. "Completely tested" and I moved my hand thru my hair with a smile.She gave out a big smile and touched her hair. Which i thought was a strong IOI.
Then I went in for a direct approach, since I felt the hair thing is not gonna take me anywhere. I said to her "Actually I found you to be pretty cute, and wanted to say Hi, but I am sure you must be getting many guys saying a hi at the walk sign" Her eyes became big with suprise, and with a big smile she said that was pretty smooth.I smiled, and we had a formal introduction of names. I told her I am actually a Computer Science Graduate and work for so n so. She hit me on my arm, again with a smile and asked me if I pick girls up like this all the time. I said "only if she has great hair".
Then I said to her " I usually don do this on the street, I have to be somewhere, but it would be great if we could meet sometime for a drink , and I could tell you more about my Hair solution", she blushed here, and said sure. Gave me her number.
I kind of wanted her to think of me till the next time I call her. So before I said "Bye, nice to meet you" , I went for a casual hug. As I hugged her, I said to her "umm....what is that....its awesome" , referring to her perfume.She told me and I said "You better stay a lil away from me next time we meet, else I am gonna keep sniffin you all the time we meet", she hit my hand again with a big smile. At this point, ,we were interacting like we are the best friends in the world.She was giving IOIs left-right. So I said Bye, nice to meet u n stuff and I turned away first. As soon as she turned, I turned and called out to her with a serious 'Hey'. She turned, and I had a very serious look on my face. Here was the great part ; Her smile dissappeared when she saw my serious face. I walked to her with that serious face, n she asked whats the matter.I came too close, and in a quick motion, sniffed her. I know this was kind of bad.I just wanted the chemistry alive here, than get stuck in friend zone. So, as I took my head away after a fraction of sniff, i winked at her with a naughty smile. She poked me, and said "get out of here", with her face all red. She came and hugged me, and said "You better call me", and then we walked away. This was a weird way of opening to someone, but somehow it worked.
Could you guys tell me if you think I did something wrong, or demonstrated any DLV? I haven't included word to word dialogue, only the major sentences which I guess worked. We chatted for almost 10-12 mins.I am thinking of calling her after 4-5 days. Will that be too long given that she seemed completely interested.
