Hi guys Spike Spiegel here again for another FR. Tonight went a lot better than the last time I went out sarging although the amount of women in this venue was abysmal.
I start out the night with me and my wingman Adam sitting at the bar and just having a few drinks. Right next to us was this hb7 and her friend, Adam called her the hogking. So I opened them up with the who lies more opener, it went well. From the I remember the interaction, I seemed to be genuinely curious, my shoulder facing them while I was acting. Looking from an outside point of view, I didn't look needy at all and was very cool and relaxed. I do have a bad habit of DLVing myself for example: I would turn to my friend to tell him something and then face the girls back. I think this line still lingers and haunts me from my AFC days: "You guys look bored, I hope I'm not boring you. "

I have a question regarding this: Did anyone ever do this when first starting? If so how did you stop this unproductive habit?



Adam really didn't want to talk to the hogking, so I ended up engaging both hb7 and her friend. I talked to her friend while hb7 was gone to the bathroom and kept her engaged. From the IoIs I was getting from her(her touching her hair, blinking nervously) I could tell she liked me as well so I think at that point is when you pro puas say:It's on. Throughout the interaction between hb7 and me, I was push pulling a lot, turned my back on her when she did something I didn't like, negged her a bit, even negged the mother hen to keep her attracted as well. I'm not sure if this strategy works, but I thought if they both liked me this would create a jealousy plot.. correct me if I'm wrong please.

Well to keep this short, I ended up getting the number but I think I could have pulled it off a lot better.

Spike Hey hb7 listen, I have to go my friend isn't feeling too well.
hb7 Aww ok
Spike I'm going to go see a movie next week, and I want you to come along.
I proceed to take my cellphone out, hold her hand and hand it over.
Spike Write your number down and I'll give you a call
HB7 But I have a boyfriend!
Spike I never said I wanted to be your boyfriend. It's ok we'll just go watch a movie.
I thought I would say this, but I'm not sure where it will lead me
Hb7 my boyfriend will be mad at me if I go out with you.
Spike how do you know I don't have a girlfriend and she won't be mad at me if I went out with you.
I didn't know what to say but I DIDN'T want to back out, not after what I've never done.

AND! She finally puts her number down. We kiss on the cheeks good bye.
I messaged her back and told her goodnight, however I haven't gotten a message back from her. I don't feel too bad about it, because I've actually managed to get a woman's phone number without being blown off. I remember exactly this day last year, I was sitting down on my desk killing internet dragons in World of Warcraft, so I'm positive and so happy about the future! i

Here is the thing. Everyone has their own ethics and morals on doing stuff with girls with boyfriends and things. Anyways, just getting someone's number is not a big deal. You handled the basic boyfriend objection like a pro.

When you see "it's on" and the IOIs and interest is there you have to push it. People can't hide their body language very well. It's something you just can't control until you just have repeated practice at it. Anyways, her body language and actions said she liked you, and you were right.

As far as making that AFC type comment. Don't beat yourself up over it too much. No pickup is without it's flaws. Everyone has some goof ups, or things that don't come out as they should. Practice will take care of that.
