| Hey, thanks Rocky.
It's funny, with the salsa, because it's something that I genuinely love doing (originally I started doing salsa as a way to meet chicks, and I guess I fell in love with salsa instead). Yeah, there's a lot of positives about it for me, I'm going something I love, so that straight away puts me in state. By default, it's an activity that demands I mix with lots of woman, and it's like instant kino! I go out, often don't drink a drop of alcohol, I don't spend much, and I'm like on cloud 9 or something (though I think being too happy can be counter productive as far as seduction goes).
I could go on and on, there's just like a million and one positives about it.
So it's defo a strength area for me. However, if I'm off the dance floor, I may struggle in normal converstation with a girl. So there's also a danger that I'm sticking to my strengths and not working on my weak points (as you suggest).
One thing I'm really sussing though (and someone else mentioned about this on another thread), is FLOW.
When I'm in a salsa club, I'm having as many interactions with people as I possibly can. I don't care, ugly, good looking, male, female, I don't give a damn, it's just numbers, so I have a great vibe with everyone. I will aslo connect like 2 strangers together, and bring more people in to the interaction, being inclusive. So it's just lifts my energy, and the energy of the room (to a degree).
If I'm just stood there, eyeing up one HB, maybe working out my approach, I feel like I'm almost wasting my time. It's also real bad because it's interupting my FLOW (or momentum).
I have this cool theory about driving (a car).
When I'm coming up to a roundabout (do they call it that in the US?), and say I wanna turn right, or go straight on, and maybe there are 3 lanes I can be in, I will often go in the lane with less traffic, even if it's the wrong lane for now. Things work themselves out and change in time. I just need to keep the flow going, so it's the same, on the road or in the club.
