OMG, I just had the most fun night out ever, had such an amazing good time.

Approached many (lost count, more than 20) women, had mixed experiences from this, but figured what really worked well was just approaching as many as possible, and trying diff things, and just really making it up as I went.

No pre-concieved lines, no pre-cognition. Just in the moment (sure I heard David D talk about this somewhere on YouTube).

Something someone else said on this very forum too, seemed relevant, some guy talking about Taoism and flow ...

It's like, I'm temporary, I'm not important, the collection of atoms that forms my body, will one day disintegrate, and *I* will be no more. It's a not taking myself so seriously kinda thing. Also, I was thinking, about flow, and fear, and how they relate. For me, I figure, fear is like being frozen, so overcoming fear, is about maintaining a flow. This means not holding rigidly to any concept, or plan of action, but letting it go, and keeping it moving. It, being primarily your mind, but also the body.

Danced with loads of hotties, and could tell a few were in to me, and was really suprised how confident, relaxed, controlled and natural I was.

Didn't close, but it didn't matter, I had such a good vibe going, and learned tons.

Also was thinking how much I anticipate that a hot girl won't dig me, so I shoot myself in the foot. Learning much more to anticipate that she will like me. Changing my beliefs ...

Hope this post don't sound too garbled or mad. Just got home. Feel great. Life is good.

Hey man, i feel where your coming from.

I approach my game much the same as you, however, to keep your game improving (now that you have overcome shyness and seem confident enough), I would try and find one point during the night where you could have improved, and devise (or use) a routine to help smooth that part of your game out.

Keep Sargin!

Hey, thanks Rocky.

It's funny, with the salsa, because it's something that I genuinely love doing (originally I started doing salsa as a way to meet chicks, and I guess I fell in love with salsa instead). Yeah, there's a lot of positives about it for me, I'm going something I love, so that straight away puts me in state. By default, it's an activity that demands I mix with lots of woman, and it's like instant kino! I go out, often don't drink a drop of alcohol, I don't spend much, and I'm like on cloud 9 or something (though I think being too happy can be counter productive as far as seduction goes).

I could go on and on, there's just like a million and one positives about it.

So it's defo a strength area for me. However, if I'm off the dance floor, I may struggle in normal converstation with a girl. So there's also a danger that I'm sticking to my strengths and not working on my weak points (as you suggest).

One thing I'm really sussing though (and someone else mentioned about this on another thread), is FLOW.

When I'm in a salsa club, I'm having as many interactions with people as I possibly can. I don't care, ugly, good looking, male, female, I don't give a damn, it's just numbers, so I have a great vibe with everyone. I will aslo connect like 2 strangers together, and bring more people in to the interaction, being inclusive. So it's just lifts my energy, and the energy of the room (to a degree).

If I'm just stood there, eyeing up one HB, maybe working out my approach, I feel like I'm almost wasting my time. It's also real bad because it's interupting my FLOW (or momentum).

I have this cool theory about driving (a car).

When I'm coming up to a roundabout (do they call it that in the US?), and say I wanna turn right, or go straight on, and maybe there are 3 lanes I can be in, I will often go in the lane with less traffic, even if it's the wrong lane for now. Things work themselves out and change in time. I just need to keep the flow going, so it's the same, on the road or in the club.

I also had some other ideas, i'd like to share.

When I was first learning how to swim, I would put on some goggles, and just hold my breath, and submerge myself, go under the water, and just stay there a few moments.

It's like I was learning that being under the water won't kill me.

So, that's what all my fear with swimming was about, I'd be afraid that I'd go under the water and that that would be real bad (ha).

So by directly confronting my fear, the holding my breath and going under exercise, I learned that it wasn't so bad.

Then I was swimming under the water, and that's the first time I ever swam!

Of course, it didn't take long till I was swimming on the surface, and my fear was gone.

I recon it's probably a simular process with girls. The more girls I approach and interact with, the more I learn that it's not so bad, it won't kill me, I won't die from embarressment.

Hope that makes sense!
