This is a long Field Report that spans over the 1st two days i got back into the game since ending a long relationship. I'd appreciate your critiques and positive/negative feed back. Tell me what I did right, and what I did wrong.

Anyways....

Friday Night


I roll over to a party at Opera's apartment with my friend Musiq and a mutual pivot (LGH). When we are at Opera's party, Opera invites a few girls over, one is an HB8 who I had history with before I started my relationship. The other was an HB7 from Germany who I didnt have any immediate attraction too.

About a 1/2 hour after the HB8 and HB7 arrive, Opera and I step outside to smoke a cigarrette. At this he mentions that he is trying to get with HB8 and is annoyed by HB7's presence. I took it upon myself to isolate HB7 so that Opera could have a fair chance at HB8.

I immediately begin to game HB7 (open with "If you are planning on staring at me all night, you could at least introduce yourself first.") We start talking and i mix DHV stories about my experiences with Germany and Germans with Negs at her accented English. Everytime I ran out of material I would go talk to my pivot (LGH) and have a few minutes of meaningless convo, hoping to project social proof.

Anyway, Opera's game is rather poor...(calling him an AFC is a compliment). He screws things up with HB8, which leaves me free of HB7, because I was never really interested in her to begin with but hoping to wing for a friend. AS HB8 prepares to leave with HB7, HB7 rushes up to me and begs me to take her number and to call her to hang out. I take this as a compliment, but dont get too excited because I considered her to be a waste of my Game.


Saturday Night



Musiq and I decide to go to a party hosted by mutual friends. Upon arriving we discover two of my weaknesses..1) an open bar 2) eastern European girls with blonde hair and blue eyes.

We head towards the middle of the room, with two big smiles on our faces, talking to everyone we know at the party and even some we dont.

As we reach the center of the party, I realize I need to break the seal, I excuse myself and head to the men's room.

When I return, Musiq is talking to a 3-set a foreign girsl, two HB8's and an HB7. Of the two HB8's one is blonde (Hb8Blonde) and one is Brunette (HB8 Brunette).

Given my personal preference for Blondes and Musiq's predilection for Brunettes, I assumed (correctly so) that Musiq's target was HB8Brunette.

I walk up to the set, put a hand on Musiq's shoulder and asked "How are you Musiq? Are you not going to introduce me to your friends?"

Musiq introduces me, and i immediately game HB8 Blonde and HB7. I use a quick introduction/opener (omg...(Female First Name) (Last Name)?, annihilation opener). I neg both girls, while offering slight DHV stories. While talking to the two, i notice a girl I had a history with, I immediately bounce, and start gaming the girl i knew and her friends. I had no real interest but thought they would be good social proof.

I go back to the original set of HB8 Blonde and HB7 and decide HB8 Blonde was my target. I continue DHVing, and when i see a Guy friend that was alone I immediately introduce him to HB7.

Now that HB7 is taken care of, I continue my game with HB8 Blonde. I lead her out into the dance floor where, in the context of dancing I lead her through a number of compliance tests. The whole time i was recieveing IOI's such as playing with hair, she initiated kino, constant pick up of conversation when I let it drop, She qualified herself to my negs, she consistently sought eye contact, and that "twinkle" in the eyes.

Unfortunately, HB7 grew tired of my friend and decided it was late and decided to round up her friends.

When HB8 Blonde told me she was leaving, we were holding each other on the dance floor. Feeling pleased with my game thus far, for first weekend back in the field. I decided to attempt a kiss close/ at least number close. Never having a lot of trust in Mystery's would you like to kiss close. (sorry, I realize I am in no position to be critical of Mystery, its more that I don't think I create the same value as he does for it to work.)

We look at each other and it seems the perfect opportunity to kiss her. However, I go 80% and she doesnt go 20. Thinking it best to just save the situation and number close so i can build more comfort on day2..I just kiss her on the cheek. She responds by kissing me on half of my mouth. I number close, and am seeing her this saturday night.


In retrospect, I realize that when HB8 Blonde kissed me on half my mouth, it was really the strongest IOI I got, and should have just gone for the full kiss close.
