I am new to the forums and here is something that recently happened to me.

A couple people from work decided to go out for drinks one night. I had to pick up my buddy from the airport. So once I got him we went to the bar. We get there and are looking around and the hottest girl in the office sees us looking around and comes up and says hi. About 2 sentences into the convo, out of no where, she says that her and her boyfriend broke up that week. I thought this was a good sign at the time.

My buddy and I are drinking and we all end up on the dance floor. She basically backs into me and starts grinding, so I go with it. She seems totally sober by the way and hasn't had a drink in her hand all night (although we did get there late).

At the end of the night we are leaving the bar and I tell her my buddy from out of town and I are going out the next night and she immediatly offers up her # and tells me to let her know what we are doing.

Next night I text her and it goes as follows:

Me:We are going out for sushi before the bars, let me know if you want to go.

Her: I am really hung over I don't think my body is going to let me go out.
(even though I don't think she was drinking the night before)

Me: Thats what the sushi is for

Then no response from her, so I just dropped it because I didn't want to look like a chump chasing after her. Since reading these forums I have either ignored her or negged her every chance that I have had and it seems to be working a little bit.

How do I play it from here?
