| Well this was the first night out to a club with the intention of talking to a bunch of new people, and trying to get out of the AFC-rut, with a couple of mates, and we did - so to that extent, I'm very happy!
I was wearing a suit jacket and light coloured trilby, and got plenty of compliments for it, but I couldn't use it very well to get into conversation. A lot of women would ask to wear it, or more usually just steal it, and i'd say something along the lines of 'hey hey, less of that, we don't even know each other yet', which was ok, but that was about all I could think of, and it felt a bit rubbish. There must be more potential here!
Or if a women walks past, and just says 'i like your hat', i'd smile, say thank you, but otherwise struggle.
There must be some good hat-related conversation out there!
Any help would be much appreciated.
[But on the plus side, it was the first time i used the 'fight outside' opener, and, to my disbelief, it works beautifully..]
