Tonight was likely my first 100% in-field success! For the background, my brother (occasional wing) and I have a tradition of going to karaoke once a week. We're regulars at the place and every once in a while a worth-while target shows up. This time, we were going with a mutual friend that we'll call Amy. She's moving in a few weeks so we thought it was important to spend some time with her so we invited her. She brought along a friend of hers that I had met and sarged before. We'll call her Jasmine.
We arrived slightly late to the karaoke coffee shop but there was still plenty of tables open. We sat down and my brother wasted no time in opening a 2 set with the best situational opener I've ever heard. He looked at a very busty HB wearing an I
NY T-shirt and said "Do you really love New York or are you just saying that 'cause they gave you a free T-shirt?"
I chose instead to focus on the set I'd come with, but immediately faced opposition from Amy. She's a good friend but has warned before that "Jasmine is mine! Don't go near her!" I tried to ask Jasmine to dance but Amy stopped her. On the spot I concocted a master plan. I approached my brother's target and said "My New year's resolution is to dance with a stranger!" and we danced. Then, I asked her to sing "Barbie Girl" with me as Barbie and her as Ken (excellent routine I've used before). I didn't want to sarge her (I wouldn't be that low of a human) but simply wanted to show Jasmine what she was missing by listening to Amy. After the song I got a big hug from my brother's target (hugging girls with big boobs is the best!) and, needless to say Jasmine danced with me on the next song.
Though i'd made advancements with my target Amy was still blocking me really bad. so, the moment that she turned away to talk to someone else I pulled Jasmine to a quiet place to run the cube routine (telling her I was semi-psychic). She complained that it was really cold outside so I gave her a hug "for warmth" and gave her an eskimo kiss telling her that it's how they keep warm in Alaska. When Amy found out she was furious and doubled her efforts.
Once again, Amy stole my dancing partner but I had another brilliant idea. I asked an HB at a nearby table to dance with me because it's make me more attractive to my target. girls love playing matchmaker! So, I got to dance with another random HB and dance with my target again (a lot of dancing for a karaoke place).
Finally, my brother and I walked them out to their car and I pointed to my cheek saying "kiss goodbye" which currently has a %100 success rate. They promised to come next week but I was determined to # close. I handed her my phone saying "You're cool, we're gonna hang out sometime." I had to block amy from snatching the phone away while Jasmine put in her number. I now have a C1-C2 situation and a day 2 set up! I couldn't be happier!
I'm wondering if any of you have had a worse cockblock problem than I did. If so, I want to hear stories and I am always happy to take criticism of my performance.
