I can't stand bars, mainly because the music is so loud, the tons of people, and how hot it gets inside... but I do love their patios where you can get away from all that, while still enjoying the benefits of scene. So my buddy and I were gettin' shit-faced on the back patio of a local pub when a good looking HB comes up to bum a smoke off of him, AND invites herself to sit at our table. I had seen her briefly before, but didn't pay her any attention, because I was having a good time with my buddy - go figure, this kind of thing happens when you aren't trying!

A few minutes into the conversation, I ask her if her group of friends is going to get lonely without her. I knew darn well that she wasn't going to leave, but giving her an excuse to demonstrated higher value that my buddy and I didn't need her there to have a good time. Needless to say, she stayed, but informed us that she wasn't there with a group of friends, she was actually dating a bartender there! In my mind, the game just got harder, but that just meant that I needed to step mine up another notch.

I did something that I'm sorry to admit to. She dragged the conversation into politics, and I let it happen. She works for some branch of federal government, so I let it slide but I did tell her that i don't talk to people I just met, especially drunk people, about politics, but that I would in this one case, but she was really going to get it! I was happier than hell when I got the first chance to disagree with her views, and oh what rewards it had! Body language changed to me leaning back, her bending forward into me, and her hands couldn't stay off of me - IOIs my friends!

My buddy did the AFC-roll-over and agreed with her, but I refused, recognizing what was really going on, and look who got the attention. This HB made such an investment in me that I had her eating out of my hand. When my beer ran out, I held up my glass and pointed to it. She grabs it, runs back in the bar and returns in record time with a round for the table.

About 20 minutes later... The bartender/boyfriend appears who stood behind her in her chair, which made things a bit awkward, because he could see full well that I was gaming his girlfriend. I backed off of her shortly thereafter which I later had to explain to my buddy why. I turned my attention to the bartender himself, because I saw a bigger opportunity present itself. Either steal the girlfriend (easy) and earn a bad name in the bar, or befriend him, and have access to all of the other women he knows there, not to mention cheaper / stiffer drinks from him. Changing my attention to him really drove the HB wild too, 'cause that's not something that she was used to obviously. I excused my buddy and I from the table knowing full well that I had the upper hand in so many ways!

... And on to the next set of HBs which was watching my friend and I entertain one of the top 10 good looking girls in the bar for the last 45 minutes.
