I didnt think I was gonna post an FR about this but I havent posted an FR in a really long time, so I might as well. Anyways, I home for the holidays and my plan was to go out and really work on my game at the bars since I havent been able to in the 4 months Ive been away from home. However, due to the large amounts of snow where I live, I was able to make it out this last Saturday night before I returned to where Ive been working. Along with working on my game, my goal was to close an HB7 friend of mine (she put me in LJBF during High School) who Id been gaming somewhat online while I was away. But again, the snow sorta killed my gameplan heading into the holiday. But heres what ended up happening...

So on Saturday night I get a call from my buddy and asks me if I wanna go downtown with him and HB7. And obviously I was down. So I drive over to his house, and we go over the gameplan. I asked him if he wanted HB7 to be his target (he was also put in the LJBF zone), but he declined and said she was all mine. So we decide we were going to this bar downtown, and my goal was to run game solid game on HB7 during pre-drink and on the way to the bar by upping the kino, teasing, creating a sexual state, and role reversal. Then at the bar I was planning on creating a jealousy plotline by opening sets and gaming other girls. All the while my buddy would wing me with the HB7.

In theory it was a decent plan, but things never go accordingly...

So she arrives at my buddies place and we pre-drink. During pre-drink my buddy turns on the Borat flick and were just drinking and laughing our asses off at the movie. I was sidled up next to HB7 on the couch, and my buddy was on the opposite seat just being a perfect wing by letting me run game. I didnt run any routines since I ran a bunch on her last year as practice when I first learned the game. But I stuck to my plan by upping the kino, teasing, and creating a sexual state. However, I might have been going a little bit to far with the negging (which has been a big sticking point for me in the past).

Anyways after the movie we leave my buddy's place to go downtown and I come to the realization that Im really drunk and thats definately not a good thing for gaming. On our way there Im just keeping up what Ive been doing the whole time, but the negs are starting to add up. We arrive downtown and were walking towards the bar when we see the big lineup in front of it. I suggest that we just go lineup cuz the bar is a sick place for gaming. However, my buddy without consulting me calls an audible and decides that were going to this Club across the street.

Having not been to this Club before, and not being a clubbing enthusiast I was very skeptical about the idea. So I ask my buddy, "Is this club really loud? Is it easy to game in there? Is it all dancing or is it chill?" He assures me that the place is good to go, and being drunk I trusted my friend and not my instincts. So we go in the small line for the club and this is where I blow it with HB7. We were all just talking and I forget exactly what we were talking about, but I throw out a role reversal line to HB7 "thats why we'd never hookup, cuz your in my friend zone". She responds seriously saying, "well your in my friend zone so it doesnt matter." With her the rest of the night I recieved negative body language, and she was opening up more to my buddy. So I wasnt totally dejected since my failure was my friend's gain.

Anyways, as soon as we enter the club I hear the extremely loud music and in turn I am extremely rattled. I had already paid the cover so I had no choice but to try and make something out of my evening. We go to the bar part and order some beers (even though I hate beer, it was cheaper than $10 shots) and have a quick drink before we hit the dance floor. I hate dancing, and I hate club game because it is purely based on attraction (although I consider myself a good looking guy), and because its based on attraction, I dont have the power. Despite all this I said "fuck it" and tried to run some game. So we hit the dance floor and its pretty much 2:1 ratio of dudes to girls which sucked. And there were several guys on the outskirts of the dance floor just lurking at all the girls. In my opinion it was pathetic, but for guys in clubs its either lurk, or grind up on some random girl. Personally, im not into doing either of those things so I just danced with HB7 and my buddy, although she didnt want to grind, so I pretty much looked like a tool the whole time.

So being even more rattled (although I was trying not to show it) I decided to approach some sets on the dance floor. First set, was 3 set. I cant remember what they look like but I know one was atleast an 8. I try to run my opener (I cant remember it) but it was just way to loud. They couldnt hear me whatsoever, and just closed me out of their circle. Next set I try the same thing, and same result. Gay. A few minutes later I approach an HB8?? on the dance floor who was just on the outskirts of her group. I made an observational opener about how she should watch out with all the creepy lurkers around, and she laughed. But conversation couldnt really further because of the noise. She then approaches me 2 mins later...

HB8: What do you think of this song? I requested it
Me: Its not bad. Its not great, but its not bad. (Pretty much yelling with a smile)
HB8: (laughs) Ya I dont really like the music here, its all techno.
Me: Ya I know, I wish they played some hip hop like some T.I or Lil Wayne.
HB8: Omg I know...something something...

At this point I cant hear a word shes saying, I had to ask her to repeat herself like 3 times...I still cant really make it out, and I have no clue how to respond and that was pretty much it, and she ejected. I tried to approach one more set after but was blown out again because of the damn noise. And about 10 mins later I suggested we leave, and that was pretty much the night.

Overall, I was disappointed at the way things turned out, but what I will take away is the small success of me being able to get past my AA and even attempt to open sets. Big step for me considering it was my first time out looking to game in 4 months. As well I realized my sticking point to work on is limiting the negging. It kills me everytime. Fuck this FR is long, Im done.
