I learnt this the hard way. I won't go into detail, but I took a girl home on Saturday night, she sat on my bed, I went to brush my teeth, came back and she said, "I think it would be best if I left". I thought, "Shit. I gotta save this or it's game over!" I said, "Have I upset you or something?" She said, "No, not at all, it's nothing personal, it's just that I have work early in the morning and could do with a good night sleep". I said, "Okay, but you can get that here". Anyway, she left... I thought I had really upset her but I found out on Monday that she left cause my room was slightly fucking messy! WTF?!

Needless to say, Monday night was spent cleaning the fuck out of my room. So guys, if you're reading this and you know your room could be cleaner... go and fucking do it! I couldn't believe all my hard work was wasted... Gutted!

I doubt it was the messy room. Take it from her point of view.. your there sitting on a chicks bed, then the chick goes to go BRUSH HER TEETH?! At that point im thinking did this chick forget to brush today and shes doing it now cause we might have sex, and EWWWWWW if i actually kissed her.

I would actually rather keep my car/house slightly messy if I'm taking a girl out. By slightly messy I mean overall clean but just dirty enough to look lived in. The reason is that you don't want them to know you spent a bunch of time cleaning up just because they were coming. It's counter intuitive but it gives her an advantage right off the bat.
