So I am in training for my great pickup challenge. (A girl challenged me to a PU contest.)

I went out to sarge by myself yesterday since my wing was doing other stuff. I went to one of my favourite bars and I realized that the people going there had changed. Good stuff... So I arrived early in order to scan the surroundings and I quickly realize that this place was more or less empty. People were around 23 on avarage but thats ok, problem was that there were no real sets to open, there were some couples and some crappy sets. I started to lose value so I had to do something so I started talking to a guy to generate some social proof. All the sets could see me since there were at most 20 people there except me. So I was talking to the guy and got bored. I saw another set arriving, a 3-set of girls where the best one was an UG. I opened them using the gay opener (they were complete bitches (I know they were only bitches to me)). Since they were UGs I did not push the matter and ejected with, nice to meet you have a good night. So I had crashed and burned on an all UG set and talked to a boring guy, I started feeling bad. Then I realized that it was time to do something exceptional.
I went to the bathroom, I grabbed a snack and started playing with my cellphone until more sets had arrived. I did some inner game and opened up another set of 4 with only one girl (a HB5), not too exciting. They were friendly and responsive but unfortunately they were gonna have a meeting and were not staying (no it was not an excuse, it was really true because the leader of the meeting came and dragged them away with some important papers or whatever).
At this time, more sets had arrived and it was starting to get crowded.

I found a 3set with 2 guys and 1 girl (HB6) that seemed nice and I went in to open one of the guys.
Ezo: Hey, didnt I see you here last week?
Guy: What? Maybe? I come here a lot...
Ezo: Yeah, Im sure, you were the one with the crazy cowboyhat who were completely wild on the dancefloor right?
Guy: Nooo...? Meeee?
Bla bla bla. Shooting the shit, where are you from etc etc etc. Completely ignoring the girl. After a while I turn to the girl and I realize that the set has turned into a fiveset where everyone knew each other. I started to run the entire set by introducing myself to all the newcomers. At this time the set has grown to a 7set and everybody who arrived assumed that I knew some of the others so I started running the set. Not a single routine but just talking and telling real stories that came up naturally in conversation. Some people left and some others joined in at the most I think it was a 9set. But I was getting along fine. To generate some social proof and alpha male status I located the "leader" of the group and told him that he looked exactly like a close friend of mine. (At this time 2 girls had joined (a HB8 and a porno-looking HB6.5 she was not so beautiful but fetish enough to get my attention)). So I told the AMOG that I needed his picture to show my friend.
Ezo: Hey, Girl number one! Get a picture of us together.
(I always call girls by number since I cannot be bothered to find out their names too soon.)
HB6.5: No, I can take the picture.
Ezo: Sure... go ahead!
HB6.5: Do you have an e-mail adress?
Ezo: Here you go...

I was shooting the shit with the girls and the AMOG so that it was clear that I was the new alpha. I did the spin move on the HB8 and she started doing the pornmoves (you know the ones I mean). She also touched her hair and laughed at stuff that was not funny so I guess I got a lot of IOIs. As that started I started getting IOIs from the other one as well.
The HB8 tried to get us onto the dancefloor but since I was running the set she had to stay for the show.

Ezo: Before I forget, we should hang out, got a phonenumber?
HB8: Yeah, sure, lets trade!
Numberclose number one!

Bla bla bla flufftalk. Time to go, everybody were leaving. The AMOG had suddenly became my best friend and we were also exchanging numbers (good guy to keep track of). And on our way to the subway I talked to the HB6.5 about deep stuff that we in reality did not share at all. Well, at the subwaystation I numberclosed the HB6.5 as well and started flufftalking again.
Suddenly I realize that the people in the bar (staff) had given me a paper on some other party for the next day and I decided to use this. I brought it out and asked if any of the others had recieved it.
HB8: Wow I need one.
Ezo; Here you go, do you plan to go?
Group: yeah maybe probably, surely, yes... Deciding on it.
So we decided to go together. (Day 2 timebridge.)

It was a double number close and a day 2 in one set. Nice.
I did not use any canned routines but just told some stuff about my life. Why did this work?
Because I demonstrated my personality and I had enough alpha behavior to run the set without DHVing too much. Inner game guys.
