I wasnt exactly sure where to post this, but I thought here would be appropriate. Anyway im a bartender, and Ive been using this method since before I even knew about Pick Up Artistry, but it is only now that I understand how/why it works. I am yet to use it since learning a few PUA techniques, but previously I have N-closed 4 times.

The beauty of this routine is you dont have to open... the girl approaches you, immediately she is already in a more comfortable state.

So she approaches you and asks for her drink... First thing you are going to do is neg her drink choice... just pull a funny face and wait until she asks "what?" or something along those lines.

You reply something along "Oooo... bad choice!". She will likely ask why... then you respond. "Well, the choice of drink says a lot about a person... and do you know what <whatever drink she ordered> says?"

She will ask what. Just make something negative up... doesnt matter what but then you can go on to use a cold reading technique or find out what flavours she likes and you create an invention for her... something that no other bartender can replicate (this is important)... Immediately you have DHVd... you are now the ONLY bartender she can come back to for this fantastic drink you have invented for her... and at the same time she feels special. It doesnt even have to be something you invented... just something that no one else knows how to make. Throw in the line "trust me... im the best damn drink image consultant in this place" (a nice C&F line)

I have found that from then on conversation is easy... just keep using normal PUA skills... I have N-closed using this the majority of the time. But bare in mind... you cant really do this on busy nights, or if your boss gets annoyed.

I agree mate, i bartend every summer time between school. Its my favourite place to run game, its so easy, especially when u add a little flare and pinache while you work, and hug the servers, and be loud and fun it DHV like no other, everyone see's the bartenders.
Then its so easy when they approach the bar, plus, girls love bartenders.

I like what u said about cold reading with the drinks, lol, i think i will try that tonight.
