heres the report:

Last night i went clubbing, with two other buds with a CF attitude, faint smile and i first see a 3 set (hb7, 2hb8) i approach them:

(one has a blouse that has a ribbon tie at back)
me: how long did it take you to tie this (i touch the bow as i speak)
chiks:(giggle) blah blah blah
me: who did your hair?
h8:i did
me: youre very talented (i coulda said you did a terrible job)


then they turn their backs to me (freeze out)?
i wait some more time an i note her earings; they look like dream catchers. I say :
me: hey are those dreamcatchers on your ears?
chicks:giggle blah

they freeze me out again and i abort the operation.

me and buds go to a dance room and i see a two set (hb7, hb8.5) resting near the dance floor:

me: hey ladies resting are you?
chicks: no thanks
me: i asked if you were resting not if you wanted to dance (the music was so loud it was hard to hear words)
chicks: laugh
me: this is my friend (introduce).what are your names?
chicks: amanda /jenn
me: Where you two from?
chiks: bay area, okaland
me: oh nice. me and him were there about a month ago. Where do you like it better, LA or Bay? LA of course!
chicks: laughing, haha, its nice but bay is our hometown (or something like that. I felt we were building nice rapport with em)

we talked for about 2 more minutes,
i was smiling CF with gesture, and then told em "nice talkin" and we left.

Later on,

we found them again. I approach the target (hb 8.5) and place my hand on her back gently:

me: hey ladies whats going on. (facing hb7)You're amanda right?
hb7: yeah
me: and you are (facing hb8.5).....dont hate me for it but i forgot your name....
hb8.5: Jenn
me: ok jenn. What do you two do?work? study?
hb7: im a fashion design major.
hb8.5: im a business major
me: aweseome. (hb 7 gets a bit distracted and i face hb 8.5) so where do you go to school?
hb8.5: USC
me:(turning to my frend, i make the "money" gesture with my fingers. when i turn to face hb8, shes giving me this look.)
I heard that its a misconception all people going to USC are loaded ith money.
hb8.5: yes it is.
(i think i fucked it up here. Before this, she seemed more receptive, and perhaps available for number close.)

hb7's phone apparently rings and hb8 motions to me that shes gonna follow her friend outside so they can hear the call.

Me and my friend dont wait around, as not to show any interest.

we later see them coming back inside, and it is possible they saw us, but
they were headed for another room. We didnt follow them.

I was feeling pretty good about the inital contact with this set, but i feel i fucked it up with the money topic and perhaps i showed a little bit too much interest, and perhaps didnt number close at the right time. What do you guys think?

I would've said "Oh, I could tell" or something if I was being CF... you've handed her a free IOI it seems, which will lower your value. Maybe they wouldn't have freezed out as you would've been more interesting with that little C&F line.

Also, your game seems pretty similar to AFCs... you asked them their names, where they're from and what they do. You also called them 'ladies' a few times - this has connotations of interest so it's better to use the word 'guys' - even if it's a group of girls, I find.

I like the way you put your hand on her back when you spoke to her, and I like the idea behind the money gesture but I think it may have been done in the wrong way. It might've been better to have said something like "oh, so how many yachts does daddy own?" or if you're feeling really bold, "Damn, for a USC girl, your clothes look pretty cheap" - both in a cocky and funny way too. I think by doing the gesture infront of your friend it suggested an alternative motive which she may have picked up on and decided you're no longer any type of challenge and at this point your value is pretty low so she wants to move on.

So to clarify, I think you showed too many IOI, your conversation topics were along the lines of AFCs and although you were on right lines with C&F, you didn't quite convey it in the right way. Good job though ;]
