So went out with the boys to random parties, just to have fun and meet some people but it turned out to be a huge learning experience.
First party we went to was dead on arrival but as it got later on the place got packed. Nothing much to report though it was a euro club party and we weren’t really feelin’ it so half of us bounced to another party and the other half stayed. On the way we ran into a sober…party…thing, I don’t really know how to describe it but there was free food so I was down. In the line we (my AFC friend and I) talked to a two set (7.5’s) that tried to cut us but was met with neg’s. Didn’t close or anything, everything was so fast paced, something I’m not used to. I have to learn to slow down sometimes.
Second party was huge, by the cliffs, DJ, dancing all that good stuff. There was one girl who it seemed
everyone was after, she had social proof out the wazoo, so while three guys were talking to her I went over and complimented her frizzy hair, clearly something no other AFC at the party at least had done as she gave me a huge smile and took me by the hand up stairs with her friend (who fell in love with my dancing abilities, so I got approval from the mother hen). Once again however things were like boom, boom, boom and my timing was off (the music also stopped which didn’t help either) so once again another girl got away. After she left my friend and I went back upstairs for more dancing (I had to be his wing man as he asked “Want to dance” to every girl that walked passed him) I played it cool though and a HB 8.5 (hat girl) found me, but she did this as another girl, 9.1 (a very good looking girl) was looking at me like she wanted to dance with me. I didn’t take care of business again, but at least half way through I realized dancing with the hat girl was going nowhere so I decided to actually put some good music on and enlist the help of a group of girls (all around 7’s and 8’s) but because it was someone’s birthday we couldn’t change music.
So we left, talked to a 2 set outside the party for a while using my new opener, which I found out needs a little more behind it. Then the same group of girls from upstairs came outside so I opened them again. Turned out that all of them had boyfriends but I still built rapport with two of the four and number closed one of them after she took out her phone, (I’m pretty sure she was gonna ask me for mine but I beat her to it) and told me to call her when ever I wanted to “draw” with her
. We parted ways and met this guy who didn’t believe I had game but that I kept those girls entertained because of my looks. This actually turned out to be a great opener as I approached set after set asking them which was it, looks or game until I got to an 8 set, the largest I had ever done and asked them was it looks or game that was important. I got them all to stand in a semi circle around me and answer the question, but the mother hen called me out saying I was self centered and something else I don’t remember right now but I was stunned but her verbal haymaker and was left speechless as all the other girls jumped down my throat. Marjorly blown out but it taught me that I need to get better on my shit test returns or this could happen again.
Overall great learning experience with a # close thrown in and a fun night.
