| My first field report:
Getting late, about 11, and my buddy and I were thinking that it was just going to be a lame night out. FREEZING RIGHT NOW, 11*!
SO we walk into this bar with 50 cent beers till midnight. We get plastered, and the place is packed. Cute girls, Hot Girls, People everywhere.
SO we walk to the back and are standing around drinking and out of nowhere I open with HI! That's all it took. We connected on similar music, she whipped out her ipod and we compared likes and dislikes
We chit chat, talk with some of her guy friends that were shooting pool and continued to pound beers, she could drink. In the end, she said that I was someone that she needs to know. THATS AN IOI!
Then I started to play smart after talking with her for about 10 min. I started to open the cube game, but she was hesitant, so I pulled the "I am in a learning annex and want to try an exercise on you".

I ran the cube and asked how close I was...."Creepy close". That is the first time that I had run the cube on a complete stranger. It is pretty good. What makes it even easier is that when it came time to explain the flowers and why she had so many I looped it back to the fact that she mentioned she was IRISH CATHOLIC! Big clue on the flowers read!
Then I pulled out the camera. Crazy pics, Boring Pics, Kiss on the cheek pics...drinking pics.
AFTER ALL THIS, I ASKED FOR HER NAME! Talk about getting the info late.
I went over to talk with some other people that I met that night and it turns out that this girl I have been sarging was all alone, her friends had left and she was just hanging out b/c I was there. This was the clincher, I went to the bathroom and when I came back she was getting hit on...
I brought the camera over and placed it right between the 2 of them so he couldn't see the screen and I said loudly, look at your face, great pic!
The guy that is trying to steal my target cuts himself out of the loop by asking if we would like for him to take a pic of us...BOOM, shes mine and he is gone.
The pic we ended up taking was good but this prompted me to make an immediate move for the kiss...I got really close and then ducked out, going for her ear to whisper something. I could so tell that she wanted it so as I was coming away went right back in for the kiss.
We ended up making out in public, in a booth, and finally she said that she has to be at work in 6 hours (its 2 am) that she has to go home. But I must call her tomorrow so we can go out again on Friday.
The night ends with my buddy and I meeting the owner of the bar, taking shots (3am) on his dime, and somehow I end up behind the bar (never happens in NYC), singing to ACDC and rocking out with an HB8 Bartender. Pictures all around, got the owners number, and all in all...we were the bar. We rocked the place, we were in charge.
You get nowhere if you stay at home and watch tv...My night was infinitely better for going out. Just make a presence and have fun.
