Since I've learnt a lot from this forum I wanted to contribute back on dating girls while travelling longer term. I travelled for several months through Thailand, Laos and Vietnam and so in this post I'd like to share some pratical info on the best things to do when seeing girls there, following up on previous excellent Dragula's posts.

As a side note it's really sad that Dragula has been banned from this forum because his posts were some of the best in terms of concrete actionable content. So I vouch for him being unbanned. The initial seed in my mind came from some of his super informative posts about Tindering in Asia.

Tinder
I met girls while on the go mainly through Tinder and I think it's by far the best medium for most people that travel through these countries assuming you want to meet local girls, rather than western backpacker/tourist girls which was exactly my case. I think Tinder is the best because it's time efficient and you can meet broad range of girls there.
Daygame here is very time inefficient because most local girls you pick randomly don't speak much English so you'll have to go through maybe 5 girls in Bangkok and more elsewhere before you can even start talking properly.

Night game I don't do very often even in the west because I am not a big party animal, but in here if you do it the type of girl you will meet is quite narrow because these countries are actually much more conservative than the west. So if you take a girl back from some kind of bar for tourists after you've escalated in the bar then compared to local standard she will be a very, very loose girl, because Thai and Vietnamese guys don't really practice game and even kissing a girl in public like in a bar is a considered pretty audacious (and makes the girl lose status in front of all the locals if there are any).

Now I am not saying it as an insult to those girls, but I think it's a very restrictive filter (even more so compared to the west) because these are very conservative status-based societies so almost not even a semi-normal girl will be willing to lose her 'well-behaved' status like that for you.

Tinder allows you to screen efficiently as well as pipeline so when you come somewhere you already have a girl to meet the first or second night.

Foreigner advantages
As a foreigner you can do really well in these countries provided you satisfy some criteria.

Sometimes you can read that girls in SE Asia like white guys and that's somewhat true, but it's not unconditional. It doesn't make you a god so the girls will overlook everything. If you are fat, badly dressed, badly groomed, etc. then being white won't really save you I think. My main source for this is chat with the girls I've been with though so it could be biased.

So it still helps if you dress well, have decent body (although I got the impression that Asian girls find really hulky guys creepy) and do things like flirting and escalation well on dates.

Other than that all the SEA countries do have a varying amount of racism (white = good, dark = not good). In Vietnam it goes to an extreme - girls will wear ultra long skirts, hodies, gloves, etc. covering whole body (literally everything!) in 35 degrees humid heat just to avoid getting tanned. Guys wear whatever though.

Logistics

Logistics here can be really make or break because if you cannot bring a girl back then you have to finish the date without sex or find some creative alternative place like a car.

In Thailand you will not have much problem with hotels allowing you to take guests with you openly although you should still check the guest policy.

In Vietnam I recommend booking normal apartments via AirBnB when in a big city because the country is much more conservative than Thailand and so most hotels have a ban on unregistered guests after 10PM. Even if your hotel allows it the girl might not be willing to come back with you to hotel - for example one girl told me she would not have gone back with me if I were staying in a hotel.

Escalation

You need to adjust your escalation here. It's not really acceptable amongst local people in Thailand, and especially not in Vietnam, to kiss in public - the only place I've seen it was in wedding photo shoots in Vietnam. You can still try but likely the girl will not want and will become nervous even if she likes you.

So the best you can do is some hand-holding/caressing (a la 60 YOC) and kissing and anything else you need to take outside. I like to go for walks on dates anyway instead of spending too much time in a bar so it wasn't much of an issue for me.

The girls

I am not really into writing about my own escapades on a public forum like this and don't think it would be that helpful, so I will just say I found the girls in these countries simply amazing. Both the looks as well as character. It could be just personal though.

Overall I really encourage you to travel here, because both the things you can do and the girls will blow your mind!
