Hey guys,

Yesterday at the Nice airport while waiting for my plane (at the airport starbucks) I saw a model (perfect 10) eating all by herself. I waited for her to finish her cookie (with the coffee still to drink though) and approached her.

Usual routine: approach by head turned over the shoulder + False Time Constraint

I opened her by saying: "There's this big issue I'm discussing with my friend on the phone...do you floss before or after you brush your teeth? I need to go get my plane in 10 minutes, but I have to figure out the answer ahahah"

She laughed and responded nicely ("You floss after obviously ahahah")

I asked her where she was from (England) and I made a couple of jokes about English weather and English accent (I know, that's pretty boring-usual stuff, but my brain was frozen...she laughed though). While I was talking about an experience I had in England (found rain 8 days out of 10) I grabbed a chair (without stopping telling the story) and sit next to her...she seemed interested and told me I was lucky to find 2 days of sun.

I asked her name, and she asked me my name (I let her guess) and where I am from.

She told me she has a house in Nice and she comes to France pretty often.

She then told me she had to leave to take her plane (It was true, the speaker announced the boarding, so it was not an excuse to leave)...so I said her that she should leave me her number so we can meet again next time she is in France (2 weeks) since I will be there soon too.
She smiled and we exchanged numbers (I gave her mine, and she took my phone and saved herself into my cell saying "This will be the most English phone number you will have on your phone!" and laughed)

We then said goodbye.

I texted her an hour later saying:

"Read this text every time you are in the grey Manchester missing the French Riviera sun "

So that she could read it once landed back in cold rainy England...But I got no reply whatsoever (it's been 24h)

I'm super confused...she seemed really interested, didn't expect her to be a flake

The only reason I can think about is that she does not want to get into something with a guy living in a different nation (Italy)...but that's probably only an excuse I'm giving myself

What do you guys think?

P.S. The whole thing (approach+conversation) lasted 5 minutes

I think she dropped her phone in the toilet. Maybe her plane crashed? You knew her for 5 whole minutes. Does it really matter?

Im still new to this but Ive run into this exact situation a couple of times now. See hottie and approach her, have great convo (she seems interested), get her number and she doesnt text back. It's frustrating for sure.

Some women are just friendly, and honestly most will probably give you their number if you ask for it even if they have no intention of ever texting you back.

The only thing Id say is it was a little bit strange (for lack of a better word) of a text. What were you hoping for her to respond with? She could have easily responded with "ok I will" and that would have been just has bad as her not texting you back. If you were planning to see her in two weeks why not text her closer to when shes going to be back? Maybe she just wants to fuck in two weeks and doesnt want to have to text you every day for half a month prior lol. Idk not saying you did anything wrong... just my $.02
