There were sitting against the bar like this and this is how I approached.

I opened with the jealous GF opener. I gave myself a time constraint.
Best Friend's Test.
(I was trying to lock-in and take the throne, so I thought I start the 5 question game and once they were distracted in the midst of the game, I could take one of their chairs).
Instead we started fluffing. (My brain thought think of a way to lock-in)
I am negged the target about her personality. She gives me 2 IOIs.
The other girls were giving me shit test. I think it's because I was on the outside and couldn't take the throne.
The girls took control at this point because I was still sitting outside looking in.
They left the establishment in 5 minutes.

QUESTION:
What did I do wrong?
How could I have locked-in and taken the throne?
Is there a way to lock-in during the best friend's test?

You needed to get between the girls, two on one side and one on another. Either sit next to them at the bar talking across the obstacle to the target some and back to the obstacles ignoring her mostly or do a spin move and take a seat.

Check out - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRUoj34lQPs around 12:00 minutes in. If you've heard that stuff before then go to about 15 minutes in. It is a way that works but you just took her seat and she's not going to be super happy. I wouldn't do this to the target maybe the HB5 in this case, remember to drop the next false time constraint when you do it, but girls like to be spun.
