The title said it all, today I just failed to pick up my crush

It's not the first time I tried to pick up, actually I tried to talk to a girl several time in the past, sometime I got numbers and I felt I was really lucky back then. However, since I knew PUA means Pick up artist few weeks ago, I was really impressed and excited. So I read a lot about attraction methods, learn body language, DHV, how to be confident and stuffs. It opened my eyes and explained why I got numbers and why I failed in the past.

Last week, I tried to practice in fields. I tried day games with two girls in local mall, with the whole new system I learnt, I made it. It was one of the most awesome days in my life. The system is real and I can do it.

Then yesterday, I decided to tried with my crush in the university. I never talk to her but I made a lot eye contacts with her. Well, I realized now how weird I am when making eye contacts with girls then not approach them.

Here the story, she sat alone in the library, a spot her. I was super nervous but I decided to do it anyway.
Me: Hey, your snapback is cute (smiling, but also started to make mistakes, lean in and face my whole body to her)
Her: Thanks (she looked at my eyes and felt surprised)
Me: Where did u buy it
Her: My boyfriend gave me (made newbie like me felt really fucked up)
Me: Do you know the store
Her: I don't really know, my boyfriend bought it, maybe he bought it in blah blah stores
Me: oh, I will tried, thanks btw (I decided to give up, smile and walk away)

That how I fucked up. But I expected I will fuck up more If I want to be better. Good things is I learn something from it and hopefully not to make the same mistakes again

Can you guys point out more mistakes that I was made? and I wonder if someone was super nervous like me when approaching your crush? do you even tried to approach her second time? because I though you have to be more experience in order to be success when pick up a girl second time, unless u will become too needy. Please share your story, I don't mind if you say I'm suck or insult me, I just want to learn more

She dropped that boyfriend line PRETTY quick.

I doubt it was the eye contact unless you were really creepy with it. Leaning in could have been uncomfortable if there was no initial attraction.

Could also be the boyfriend (if it's legitimately a boyfriend).

Without knowing you and her, I can't say more - could be anything, man.

Good advice Charles, I agree with you.
I don't feel too bad if a girl reject me anymore. Instead I reviewed what I've done and tried to make it better next time. It's no longer matter of lucks anymore. That's why I really need opinions from someone who have experienced like you. Thanks man
