So I went out last night, and it turned out to be interesting. Fridays usually aren't the fun nights here, but there was something different about this night. Went to this club and apparently there was a toga party with mostly asians.

I had to start somewhere and build social proof so I started poking around and having fun. I opened up a girl who was sitting on the side of the dance floor. I smiled and asked her, " Hey! So Whats the occasion? Whats with the Togas?!"

She had replied, "The Pharmacy school coming out tonight!" I just asked for her name then I moved on. She didn't seem interested at all. She didn't smile, body turned away...next.

I couldn't muster up enough courage and open up on the dance floor with 2 or 3 sets of girls. So I continued to chat up a few other friends that were there. Eventually, these two other cute asian girls came into the club later and were in the corner just chit chatting. I decided to try something. I walked over, smiled, and opened, "HEY! YALL ARE LATE, the Toga party just left! Why are y'all still here?! "

They had no clue what I was talking about. So I kept going, "Yeah! There were a bunch of asians here and I thought y'all were with them... apparently not!"

They giggle and laughed just a bit. Figured that was my ioi, so I asked for their names. A few mins later my wingman stepped in ... and I had to introduce. Not sure if stepping was the right time but I went along.

So I chatted up a bit more with my target. I tried to extend the conversation-- I asked them where they were from and they asked what I did here Texas. Eventually I found out they were foreign student new to the city. I told them, " You ladies should come out tomorrow! It'll be more fun! " I started teasing them a bit more; they wanted to go to a club the next day where I thought was pretty lame. I told them, "OH Wow! COME ON, don't go there, come downtown again tomorrow!"

I tried to dance and mingle a bit, but they were scared hahaha. Eventually, the other girl was getting bored. I decided right then and there to get my target number and leave. I handed her my phone number and said, "Hey, give me your number. *smiles* Youre interesting, I'd like to get to know you a bit more!" I found out it was the real number after she called me back on the spot.

That night was a confidence booster for me. Feels like I turned nothing into something. I realize you could open with almost anything... the only thing that matters is how they respond. They kept giving me IOI's, so I kept going. When her friend got bored; I tried to extend and open up the conversation to her. I really tried to keep at it with the two!

Although I got her number. I think my follow up could be better. I was hoping to invite, or meet these girls up before going out again downtown tonight . I was already egging them on trying to go out with me tomorrow. I don't know how to go about this though gentlemen. Do I text or call? I can't wait 3 days to call or text of course. Calling seems more natural and confident. Yet, texting seems more low key and brief.


Whats the better option? Texting or calling her up?
