Our first set we brought to a different bar after we met them. One girl seemed to be into my wing at first but she keep ignoring randomly and running off to other guys. Girl I was with was pretty drunk and was definitely showing IOI's but she was pretty boring and it was the first set so we were both ready to move on.
Funny thing was when we talked to another set at the bar the girls came back in our general area from across the bar. My girl from the first set even went as far to bump into me when I was in another set (I gave her no such attention for this action). Clearly she was into me but I was not into her. Even the girl who flaked on my wing had eyes on us in our set. Social proof at play I guess.
The other set at the bar were two fun chicks who we hit it off with. Asked them to move to a different place in the bar and they did. Wanted to change venues again and they seemed excited to come. By the time we leave we are both feeling pretty good with the interaction thus far. However on both change of venues with first set and second set we were walking behind the girls and not interacting and it felt weird. Even when we got to the second bar we were following them around the bar in there. It probably felt like following because we werent interacting during that time. Once we got together in the next bar it seemed like we had to build the interaction up again because we lost momentum on the change of venue. One of the girls eventually drifted away to a guy she knows and another one floated over eventually as well.
How do you avoid girls flaking at the bar after good interactions? Perhaps the answer is obvious in to keep escalating the conversation which we clearly didnt do well.
