around november last year, i met this girl at my friends (female) party, which went well..i didnt close, i left it.

fast forward a few weeks later, closer to christmas, i see the girl again at another gathering which my friend threw...there i talked to her more and i asked her out, to which she said yes. i proceeded to number close and so far everything was going well...she was digging it (or so i think). this was at a bar.

i don't remember exact convo but i remember asking her 2nd time to make sure she was down...but forget what tone i used or way i asked...anyways. after i got the number i might have dropped the ball a bit again but i remember saying something like as i put the number in "k cool, when should i sext ya lol" --- not realizing my mistake at the time, thought i was being a funny guy...sigh...her reaction wasn't a big smile, which i should have taken a hint but at this point i had a few drinks in me and i wasn't reading her body language after i made that comment.

anyways, we agreed to meet after she came back christmas holidays (she was going back home in a week). our last interaction was a sat, so monday i sent a small text around noonish to see how her day was going...my plan was to keep some kind of attraction through text....but behold i get no response.

i waited a few days, then i sent a txt to my friend (female) asking if i got the right number down, she said yea, and said maybe shes dealing with someone else..so i just left it. but something didnt feel right, the interaction was going really well both times until the final moment when i got her number.

luckily one of my best friend was booty calling one of her closer friends...and he a month or two later found out that she ahd told her friend that "i was a little too pushy". this made sense more, but you never know girls, could have been number of things.

i did not msg that girl again after my first msg or try in anyway to get in contact with her. i just let it go, i know i cant get caught up on oneitis. there were two parties which i was invited to, which i didnt go to. there is one gathering coming up in june that my close friend (female) is hosting and she is most likely to be there. if i go, what should be my move?

am i completely out of this game or can i take a crack at 2nd chance? how should i approach this?
