Last night marked the end of my first semester in college. While I was not particularly successful (didn't lose my virginity), I learned a number of valuable lessons.

1. When I go out with the intention of hooking up, I don't.
2. When I go out with the intention of having fun, I end up hooking up
3. You can learn this stuff all you want from DVDs/books/etc., but field experience is the best teacher.
4. Some people will feel threatened by the fact that you want to improve. They will belittle you relentlessly.
5. Sober game is the best game. Doing this stuff drunk is much, much tougher.
6. Logical attraction points mean nothing.
7. Don't be afraid to escalate quickly. These girls go out to get hit on.
8. You CAN walk away. There's no shame in it.
9. Natural game always, always trumps canned game.
