So I'm at this cafe, just sitting alone and enjoying my drink, minding my own business. I was actually having a pretty bad day. The place was pretty dead, there was some girl studying in a corner and then a 3 set of girls on the other side of the place.

One of the girls in the 3 set started singing for who knows why and I look up, she asks me if she's bothering me. I said "No, I actually like that song." Another of the girls then said "you should come and sit with us."

So I head on over and quickly see that the one who was singing was in fact an HB 9. I'm thinking "hmm... this is interesting." So we start chatting up, and while I am being genuine and am interested in the conversation because I subscribe to the Juggler school of thought, I am also making sure to consciously DHV myself.

HB 9 reveals to me that she's interesting in blond guys with blue eyes (which I am) so this is another IOI. She gets friendly with me and actually is the first to intiate some light kino. After a while of talking she mentions how she likes karaoke and wants to do it because she has her machine... the owner of the cafe overhears this and thinks it would be a great idea.

So she says she'll be back in an hour and so leaves with her friends. I leave as well to see a friend of mine who I was supposed to meet at the cafe but texted him to leave me alone for the moment after i fell into this set.

I return later and the karaoke begins... I continue to DHV and build attraction and comfort with the HB 9. But after some time I must leave, and I see her step out for a cigarette. I say goodbye to her friends and head out. I tell how I enjoyed it and would like to do it again, she says "yeah I hope I see you around." I then # close and K-close.

A PUA must always be ready... sometimes a situation will present itself when you aren't even looking for one, and all you have to do is play it well.
