Right, like i said its a mix:
Out in a club and i approach a set of two, give them a gesture for a handshake and a hi but none of them take up the proposed handshake with one of the girls gesturing to the other.
I turn away and dance with other girls in my group to try and make them gealous and i make eye contact with the hb8 afterwards who is clearly staring my way.
What do these mix signals mean/what should i have done to better open the conversation?
Also pretty sure im suffering from aa so need to drastically work on my inner game!

Odds are there were subtleties in your body-language that communicated that you wanted their approval and/or validation. If this is the situation, then you need to work on staying calm and detaching yourself from the outcome before you even approach a girl. Remember that ultimately it doesn't matter if any one particular girl "rejects" you.
Trying to make them jealous is try-hard and desperate. So they didn't want to talk to you, so what? Move on. Go meet other women and forget about that group. If they get jealous then they get jealous. Maybe they will end up giving you signals to approach them, but frankly I wouldn't bother with a group of rude women.

Who cares what they mean? Mix signals can mean many things. It can mean one minute they aren't attracted and the next they are. It could also mean they are trying to manipulate you. It could mean a woman is crazy. It depends on the context of the situation. And like you said, you need to work on your inner game. So don't worry about all this and work on your yourself.
