I started reading about pua tactics and the game about a week ago and have now covered the basic material and some more.

So I went on to sarge for the first time today and this is my first field report, I had a wing-man at my level to accompany me and we approached a lot of sets, tried different routines, we attracted and closed just to get the hang of it all and in about 2/3 of the sets we opened, we received IOIs and were successful in building attraction, but I noticed that in a few of the unsuccessful sets what happened was that the targets and the blocks started negging us the same way a PUA negs a HB? Is this an IOI or the opposite, and if the later how do you respond.
