Location: London | | I approached a girl today at work may be 5 or 6. Its her birthday today. I wished her birthday and I asked her out sometime. She said don’t get her wrong but she is not into this. Don’t know what she meant but anyways I didn’t take it personally. I gathered courage for 2 months I finally asked and now I am so relived. Something I thought I haven’t shave for a week and I am I am fat and I am brown… may be these things put her down.

Location: UK | | It doesn't sound like you really built any rapport with her. I think you should have conversed for a while, made her laugh, tell a few jokes to make her comfortable, show her you're a nice guy and not just a creep.
Perhaps multi-thread and add a time constraint - 'Look, I have to go now, I'm meeting some friends for lunch but we have so much to talk about! We'll finish this conversation over coffee, what's the best way to contact you?' _________________ JayBo's Journal
