So thanks to the encouragement of Thau007, I went solo tonight. I live on the outskirts of L.A. and went to Hollywood Blvd. to a little place called Cabo Cantina. It was pretty poppin for a Tuesday night. It was also about 8:45. I know because Thau007 told me to go up to strangers and ask simple questions like, "what is the time" to kill some AA. I went inside and went to the bar, scoped out the place to find sets (there weren't many). The Dodger game was also on so I moved away from the bar and sat on a stool along the middle of the joint. Some sat down next to me, I started asking him about a fight that just happened right before I got there and I only got to see the end of it. We then chatted about drinks, and vegas, and different club venues there and L.A., then his boy came back with some chick that was somewhat buzzed and there were some other guys in the group. Her friend then came over and asked what everyone's names were and Red introduced me as part of his group. I didn't want to try to game on this girl since this guy and his buddy(who called himself Dwayne Wade since he looked like him) was kind enough to make me seem like I went there with them, but I guess it just ended up that way. I also didn't want to start off over my head since it was my first night out sarging since my dabble in Vegas(read my intro.) Basically I brought back up the drinks and talked about this drink I got at Fat Tuesdays in Vegas called a Hurricane or something that is so ill but tastes so so good. I was trying to false disqualify myself with a neg because she had spilled some of her Hennesey that Dwayne Wade bought her and she was sort of swigging around, so I acted playfully annoyed that she might spill it on me. Once she noticed what I was doing, she pretended that she was going to purposefully spill it on me and I went along and just gave her a fake serious stare like, "you best not chica..." Anyway, after that neg, Dwayne Wade pulled her away to try to run game I guess but he triggered her to say she had a boyfriend. Him and Red got discouraged and kind of broke off conversation with her at that point and looked like they were going to leave. I felt really bad for them, but I thought they had their chance so now it was mine. Since she mentioned her boyfriend, so I opened her with the "do you think kissing is cheating." She went on about loyalty and how she wouldn't want him macking on all the girls in the world, so I quipped at her, "so it's only if he does it?" She then clamored to clarify that she was faithful and whatever. Red and D Wade then jumped in on her trying to tease her that she really only took faithfulness as a one way street. That went on for a minute and they tried to strike up some more conversation with her. I forget what was said, but I got from it that she was from San Diego and she was a Psych major. I happen to also have a degree in psychology so when Dwade and Red crashed and burned and left I said, “Let me show you something” and did the 1-4, 1-10 routine. After that I asked her what she was planning to do with psych and we chatted about jobs and I told her the rout I went and we talked about what I did. (I work with special needs students.) At that point we then entered comfort and talked for about an hour. Her friends left the scene, one of them had some dude sucking her face off. She stayed and I thought I had it down at that point since she decided to stay with me. We kept talking and I don’t remember everything exactly but I got that her father had passed while she was in school, the boyfriend she was with SPAM was her first, she doesn’t want to get married until she’s past thirty, all his other fluff talk. Her friend called and told her to come and she said she’d be out in a minute. I knew I had to try to kino escalate to vie for her company, so I pulled a psychic hand reading routine out of my ass. I think she knew what I was doing, but it didn’t matter because at that point I feel like we both wanted to hold each others’ hands and what not. After doing that for a while, her friend called again and she got up to leave. She said she had to go, but I stayed seated and told her I didn’t want her to go and kept holding her hand. She kept saying she couldn’t but at the same time she wouldn’t just walk off. I then asked her “Well what if I tried to kiss you.” She smiled then said she would tell me not to and she’s not like that. I then said, “Well what if I didn’t warn you.” She then said she would tell me then same. She then said it was nice to meet you and that she enjoyed talking with me and left.
I think I sat there in my sulk and wept. Lol.
I think I should have told her to close her eyes at the end and if she said, “why, are you going to kiss me?” I should have said, “No, just one more piece of psych experiment. Don’t you trust me by now?” Then she would have had to close her eyes and BOOM. Kiss close. But alas, it wasn’t to be 
