Sooo I'm at a really crowded frat party, talking with this cute girl... It was going pretty well, I played the numbers game with her and she loved it, she was all smiles. Anyway we're talking and its going pretty well, and then all of the sudden this huge fight breaks out. She was being drunk and stupid and kept trying to get a closer look. And not as game or anything but I just kind threw my arm out and kept telling her to back up.
This kid proceeds to get fucking decked and is laying on the ground. I'm an EMT, so I run over and start doing what I can for the kid. There's another EMT at the party that I dont know, but he and I start assessing the kid. The cops then proceed to show up and literally say "get the fuck out, I don't care where you go but if you dont leave right now your getting arrested". The kid was fine so we get him up and send him on his way. As I'm leaving I see the girl I was talking to and ask for her number. To be honest I have no what I said but it was probably not smooth lol (something like hey you should throw your number in here, as I handed her my phone)... Anyway she says something to effect of yea but I need to leave with my friends... she put her full name in my phone (at least what I assume to be her name lol)
Any way I'm not sure whether or not to follow up on this one. On the one hand I think that the patient triage during a huge fight is a seriously legit demonstration of my value but on the other hand I kind of feel like the framework for this girl giving out her number is like she gave it out under duress (I wasn't pressuring her or anything, I just handed her my phone, but with the fight and the cops there it made it kind of a high stress situation).... ANYWAY not really sure what my next move is, so I would definitely appreciate your thoughts/opinions?

As you previously stated;you already presented Value thus trying to pick her up would be alot easier..And in the other end of the bridge,you have nothing to lose.

If you just want to fuck her I don't see any prob' in the way you guys met.

He's right, you did awesome immediately helping the kid, and you tried to protect her from the fight.

If she wasn't too drunk to forget the whole night, I doubt she would reject you at this point. And even if she did, at least you know and don't just assume because the situation got a bit hectic.

Just go and see what happens.

Hey guys thanks for the responses, I really appreciate them... so like the day or two after that I shot her a text and she actually responded with "I'm sorry, who is this?". I was totally caught off guard so I just sent back "lulz nevermind" but to my surprise she all apologetic and begged me to tell her. I did and we continued to text. I basically played the whole thing by the books, a lot of teasing and indirect answers.
A little bit after that we ran into each other at a party (I hadn't invited her, it was totally random). While I was there I kept up the whole cocky/funny/mysterious thing up when I was talking to her but I spent the majority of my time buzzing around the room talking to other girls/groups. A funny thing started to happen as the night progressed. I would be talking to other girls and she would walk by and pinch my ass or she would give me the "please fuck me eyes" from across the room. I let this go on for about a half hour and then finally acknowledged her. Literally the second I got there she was all over me, leaning in super close, pulling me towards her, and running her hands through my hair.
Obviously we proceeded to hook up within a few minutes BUT then she said something that totally threw me off my game... she goes "either your the perfect guy or your gay." To be honest I think she said it because she has a gay brother and she's actually bi so I guess thats just really influential in the way she sees people. anyway that floored me, and I guess just because it's my knee jerk reaction I started joking about how "oh yea Im super gay"... It totally backfired though because she thought I was serious, so I had to explain that Im not gay and at one point I whispered in her ear that she should consider the possibility that I'm just incredibly good at this (at the time I thought it was a smooth line, but now that Im thinking about it not so sure, Suggestions/Thoughts on the subject are welcome? lol)... We were talking/hooking up for a little bit after that but eventually I decided to go back to the party, which I thought was the right move but It blew up in my face because she ended up leaving before I could find her again. I texted her the day after and gave her shit for not saying bye but the conversation wasn't going great so I just didnt respond to her last non-question text... Since then I haven't seen/texted her, I'm not very good at transitions to day 2s.
Anyway the whole experience has been interesting. While I'm sure I made plenty of mistakes, I feel like I played this one completely by the books and at least at one point this it was working like gangbusters lol... Theres the chance this girls just insane but its been encouraging. Like it kind of validated all the work ive been doing
