After a nice bowling evening we decided to jump to a nearby club called Nachtschicht, meaning night shift in German. The place was rather empty for a Saturday night and sadly there were almost no quiet areas which made mingling with others difficult for me.
Near the entrance I spotted a German two set (HB6) standing next to a high table and checking their phones. I opened using an opener I have heard last time from some Scottish bloke – Hey, I am new here, what time does the club close?
The girls started asking me where I was from and so on. The better looking one (the target) was flashing her LV purse, so I threw in a neg about that. Further in the conversation I used the best friends test and the routine, where you ask the mark to choose a number between 1 and 10 (chose 5). I also asked if they had boyfriends (not directly, just made a comment on something – does your BF approve of this). Sadly I really couldn’t hear what she said, as it was not a straight answer.
The set was going good anyway, as they were giggling and we moved to the bar area, where the conversation continued for a brief moment, as they received a message that their friends (males) had arrived. As I had already used a false time constraint (need to go back to see to my mates) I decided to leave the set as it is and move along. I had no idea what to do after their friends’ arrival. I didn’t really have the time to number close or stack routines long enough in order to do so.
What would you have done in my situation?
