So I was at the mall today just shopping for clothes and i noticed this HB7 kept glancing at me. Mixed race, brown curly hair, mesmerizing green eyes. I didn't want to approach, but since i just finished watching the pickup artist, I just imagined Mystery watching me on CCTV in a van and calling me a pussy for not reacting to the IOIs lol. so I approached:

Me: Hey, can you show me to the changing rooms?
HB: sure! (checking out the clothes i want) Your so cute!
Me: Hey I'm not cute. I'm all cave man HAHA

We were talking shit for a bit. Then:

HB: how old are you?
ME: how old do you think I am?
HB: Umm, 15 (I always get told i look young as fuck grrr)
ME: I'll give you one last guess
HB: 13 (wtf!!!)
Me: Noo I'm 18!
HB: no way! I'm 16

talked more shit for a bit. then finally:

Me: i'm gonna try these on. no peeking!!

We spoke briefly after that but i didnt really want to number close. Is 16 too young for an 18 year old? And how should i have closed. I'm not a fan of lying with things like "we're having a pool party, come along" but i don't want to randomly blurt out an awkward "i think your pretty, gimme your number i want to call you" (or would that have been ok?)

Anyways, critique me guys. what did i do right/wrong? what would have been better responses? should i have closed? How do you react to being called "cute"?

To answer your first question, I personally just go with what's legal. I've hit on a 16 year old before that was smokin' hot and that was a year ago when I was 21.

To answer your second question, I will not answer it. I don't really think there is anything you should or should not say. I believe when you start worrying about that, you're not in the right frame of mind.

A simple way to # close:

You seem (adjective), here put your (noun) in my phone. (Then hand her the phone)

options for (adjective) : cool, lame, cute, sexy, weird, etc.
options for (noun) : info, number, digits, etc.

If they take hold of the phone it is assumed they agree to it. Since people naturally take hold of anything you hand them, it is extra hard to be rejected this way. Then, once they are done be sure to make up a nickname or description and add it in as well so you can remember who it is! You can tell them the nickname if it seems funny or makes sense to do.

options for nicknames:
short stuff
big bags
abercrombie girl
bus girl from canada
crazy californian, needs lovin
etc.




Here are several things you can do if she says you are cute:

easiest: Thanks.
easy: Thanks, I think you're cute too.
less easy: Aww, you think I'm cute? You should (do something).
moderate: something else witty or relevant to the current time/place

Options for (do something):
be careful where you say that, my fans will jump me
come with me to (some other store/eating place)
