Tonight was my first night going out since getting into the game. I'd taken two newbee's with me to try and introduce them into things. I told them to pick any table, any girl, we will go and talk to them and I would introduce them. They froze up the whole night! very frustrating. I challenged them to pick any group for me to open alone to help ease their nerves. I opened a 6 set without even using a routine. I simply asked how their night was going, asked how they all knew each other and I was immediately accepted into the group. My students were impressed with my success but still too scared to leave their seats. However as the night went on, people started dancing and this is where I feel I had less success. I went on the dance floor alone, danced alone for a few minutes, attempted to dance with a few HB's but had very very little success. Any advice guys? I'm not sure where to begin with this one? Anyways! I had a great time, got 2 numbers and I consider the night a success. Feedback?

Sounds like it was a good night! With your dancing issue, you could possible try one or both of these suggestions. Now keep in mind that I'm not too sure on what kind of person you are but.....

1. Dancing lessons

or

2. Figure out how you summon the courage to approach a HB and use that to dance like no one is watching, put your hand out to a girl and see if they take it (could take it as IOI) spin the little lady around till she spews :P girls love being twirled around, even if they wont admitt it.

One of my strongest approach routines is on the dance floor, just ooze confidance (and sometimes you may just have to swallow your pride, and put your hand out to another HB :P).

Theres a few suggestions I hope that I have helped you in some way.

Cheers,

Fantastic! thanks guys. Not really any time in life for dance lessons right now but I like the idea of using the energy to approach to simply go out and dance. good stuff. Cheers.
